The thought of Kuro being her backup crossed my mind before, she keeps insisting Kurokami is not related to Hololive in any way, shape or form and tries to keep interactions at a minimum. But I really doubt it'd be that easy, her design is essentially plagiarism of the Shirakami design, the rights to which are presumably held by cover. With Mito being involved in the redesign and legitimizing it, the situation gets a bit more conplicated. Did she license back the right for the Shirakami design from cover so Mito can use it for Kurokami? If so, there's probably contractual stipulations preventing her from just using it as an indepedent later. Did she sign over the rights to the Kuro design to Cover as a part of the deal that allowed Mito to make a derivation of the Shirakami design for her to begin with? Did she do a deal with Mito alone and the redesign was made different enough specifically so it can't be considered plagiarism and vetoed by Cover anymore? The reason the Kurokami model took years to materialize were probably these kind of questions, and we have no way of knowing what Mito, Cover and FBK settled on.
Also, I don't think she'd want to be Kuro full-time anyway, that would be a huge shift in content and a big strain on her voice. She seems to be in it for the long run and identifies with Shirakami a lot. It'd feel weird to just abandon that entirely and keep streaming as Kuro if Shirakami were gone for good. But it's an interesting topic to think about for sure.

This clip is the best evidence we have without going into past life stuff. Subaru barged into her having a casual conversation with Mio on discord without any prior announcement once, you can hear her using both her relaxed voice and later her Shirakami voice. Her relaxed voice is definitely deeper than her Shirakami one, but not quite on Kuro levels, but that ”ah” sounds a lot like Kuro.

I really love Fubuki. Like, a lot. Like, a whole lot. You have no idea. I love her so much that it is inexplicable, and I'm ninety-nine percent sure that I have an unhealthy obsession. I will never get tired of listening that sweet, angelic voice of hers. It is my life goal to meet up her with her in real life and just say hello to her.

I guess she was in a public space and used her real voice to avoid being recognized? I wouldn't really get if anyone was put off by this being her real voice. Everyone knows most of them mask their real voice and even then fubuki is pretty close with her character voice compared to her real voice, like it's about only an octave higher. Compared to some others she's way more natural about her voice which adds to why she is so good at doing the voice for so long. Fubuki's voice is still very relaxing when she's using her real one and doesn't feel too off from her fake voice even if it's more shrill so I never really notice it. I think it'd be a nice voice to use for more relaxed morning streams or when she's really tired as it would give a pretty comforting vibe.

I don't remember which Kuro Utawaku this was (within the last 1.5 years or so), but I also clearly remember her Kuro voice fading and temporarily sounding like Shirakami during a difficult part of a song. I love reading the chat and checking live reactions /here/, but today I really considered hiding the chat because some chatters were really cringe between pre-stream and around 35 mins of stream time:

Are shitposters really desperate for scraps of drama or some shit? /vt/ is unusually slow lately and an EN member doing a JP-focused stream might set off those dudes who really need to be studied.

And you know what, I remember someone complaining about how slow we are on this thread, and I know we can improve, but man, between this and THAT....I'm grateful to you guys for keeping this thread going, warning about future streams like >>58999463, for the summaries from the summary anon and other stuff. Idk if I'm an old fart, but after checking it out there, I really appreciate what it's like here. I know people come and go, like bellyanon and many anons that I don't want to mention, but I'm fine with how you guys maintain this thread.

While I can understand to a certain extent, I really don't get people like this SC dude, are they really fans? If Fubuki did some streams on a language that I couldn't understand despite being a JP member, I would put it on the background while I do other stuff to support her as a viewer or not tune in at all, and that's it. Heck, I put her on the background when she plays FPS games, since I'm not that interested in them.


That said, I admit I'm similar to >>59015142, but from what I've seen their yt chat went back to the Advent girl's "standard" chat after some time. Despite hundreds of shitposts, I saw some interesting comments on /Bau/ too, like Cellphone(?) Anyway, that stream was pretty fun! I hope they'll collab again in the future. Pretty sweet for Foobs to not troll them too much like that time with the harmonica and an interesting reaction from FWMC to that ending, as most holomens just laugh at the Fried-Chicken mention. Bless FWMC for suppressing their screams. I wish the best for FWMC, they are very cute and seems to put some effort on their channel also that those schizos go elsewhere got get their fix for their shiny toy syndrome .

Having to experience /baubau/ after not looking at anything on this board outside of this thread was a horrendous cultural whiplash. I can barely stomach that thread anymore, it's only good for soundposts and untagged art. Makes me wonder have the EN fans actually been putting up with this shit this whole time. At least it's less intrusive than the Chinese antis were.

I meant as a general idea of the backrooms, not to say you can't write your own story with it but there was no hint of that happening throughout the entire game. All you did was ride a skateboard and get teleported to the backrooms, no foreshadowing of you being a child murderer happened throughout the game making the reveal make no sense, it seems like it was just thrown in there to be shock value and give some message. Plus like >>59029656 said it was based off a real murder story, overall just felt very tasteless and completely random, also spicy fried chicken is a really funny line despite the subject matter.

Shirakami understands and offered the perspective that knowing your oshi has and wears the same clothes at home can make it feel as though you are living with her when you have it in your room. She is getting excited about decorating a corner of one's room or even a closet with one's oshi's stuff she left at one's place.
