I have learned that music is like a black hole when it comes to entertainment value. The only real outlier is Karaoke. Whenever i mention guitar people are so excited they want me to stream it, not knowing that I have done these before and every time I have 0 viewers I'm talking 0.4CCV over 2-3 hours that should be impossible to pull off. The nice thing about /asp/ is that there's always some circle of active vtubers who will give you a look if you share your link; mingling around circles under your chuuba identity will help people be aware of your existence

yea, the line6 helix. was recommended by my guitar teacher, he uses it his lesson room and it's really handy. Good for me because i enjoy listening through headphones anyways and like playing with the tone. hooked up is an ibanez prestige to get that crystal clear sound from the modern pickups. now... i just need to actually get good at playing. maybe in 10 years.

The topic of /wvt/ not having a number filter came up a few threads ago, and even though I know that's true in my heart, I feel like I don't "deserve" to be posted there. It's hard not to compare yourself to your peers even if you really try, and there's a part of me that feels as though I'm not really trying hard enough compared to everyone else. I feel as though I haven't "earned" the right to be there because I don't really have much to show for myself, and I've made a lot of empty promises that I haven't fulfilled.

Your old model enters experimental cryogenic stasis that may, or may not have the scientific backing to ever unfreeze your body in a way that perseveres you, and keeps you intact.
If you're playing a whole new character I would say your old model/character is in a deep sleep that could alter their personality should they ever return. That way in a couple years when you're a whole new person the shift makes sense.
Most people don't role play characters though so I doubt you'll need to keep up with that.
Could be if you choose the cryogenic freezing process you even have your old model on screen with you neatly suspended in cryogenic stasis. That way everyone knows she's safe as long as you don't disturb her. You could even have some side characters that love her, and are working on research to one day safely wake her up.
Alternatively you could choose to take a page from star wars, and make it seem like she achieved enlightenment and turned into a million cherry blossom petals that are said to sometimes appear on rare magical special nights so you can reappear as a force ghost on some shows.
That would be more tricky though as you would need to keep the model intact, and time corrupts files.
If the files ever become corrupted you could say that as memory fades of your old model among her followers so too does her spectral form.

I am not that good of a vtuber in so many ways. I only do guerrilla streams, and I stream weird unpopular games of wildly different genres without much rhyme or reason. At the end of the day though, I worry that I am the kind of guy that people like as a person, but don't really enjoy watching. That I just am not entertaining enough. However I don't know how to overcome, or know if I even could overcome, that obstacle. I just try my best and try to meet and make friends along the way.

All that being said, I really cherish the viewers I do have. At the risk of being called out for coping I do feel quite fulfilled with what I have, and even worry that having more viewers would ruin what I love about streaming.
