Most VTubers avoid hardcore kayfabe. Maintaining kayfabe is extremely hard, and taxing. Most VTubers 'get real' at some point because they both want a place to spill and it is an useful tool to rope audience immersion.
FuwaMoco did not to that. They embrace the Kayfabe of being little stupid doggos to the point where "Full retard" is no longer an insult, but a compliment. Because their audience likes it.
For me, that hardcore kayfabe is a hard filter. But that is fine. I am not their target audience.
