Do you guys remember the movie Cars? At the end of it there was the big Piston Cup Championship race between Lightning McQueen, The King, and Chick Hicks. Lightning McQueen is a young rising star in the racing world who becomes humbled after spending time in the small town of Radiator Springs. The King is an old racing legend who is respected by everybody, but isn’t quite as fast as he used to be. Chick Hicks is an arrogant jerk who races dirty and doesn’t care about anyone else. In the final lap of the big race, Chick Hicks intentionally causes The King to get into a wreck, leaving him unable to finish the race on his own. Lightning McQueen sees this and stops just short of the finish line to go help The King. This gives Chick Hicks the opportunity to finish the race in 1st place. Lightning then pushes The King over the finish line, putting himself in last place. Chick celebrates his victory, but no one else seems to care about it. Instead they are all in awe at Lightning’s stunning act of selflessness and The King being able to finish the race despite having wrecked.

Now I’ll tie this into the current situation with Gawr Gura and Kizuna Ai and the race to 3 million subscribers. I think it is clear that and Ai is The King in this scenario and Gura is Lightning McQueen. Kizuna Ai is a legend in the vtubing world and everyone looks up to her, but she isn’t performing as well recently. Gura is the rising star who took the world by storm and is about to surpass her in subs. This leaves the question of who Chick Hicks is. In my opinion, Chick Hicks is all of the numberfags who want Gura to mercilessly destroy Ai in subs and dance on her grave. I think that Gura would be disappointed with her fans that think this way, since she herself is a humble and respectful girl who would rather put others first, just like Lightning McQueen did.

Why the fuck does 'cars' have such a massive place in the minds of the west. The Pixar films that came before and after it were way better. I know that Cars and Talladega Nights were released to capitalize on NASCAR's 2003-2006 peak, but you'd think people would go back to them, especially Cars, and realize it's a pretty generic film with animation that just barely holds up.
