What is /asp/?
/asp/ is a thread for vtubers to give and receive advice related to vtubing.

>Should I stream on Twitch or YouTube?
Most people would recommend against streaming on YouTube if you don't have an established subscriber base from making videos.

>Is there an audience for X?
Would you watch someone do X?
Is someone already doing X?

>What video editor should I use for editing clips?
DaVinci Resolve if you don't feel like spending money or pirating, otherwise use Vegas Pro or Premiere.

So it is never wise to click on a link such as linktree that has any kind of sign in as often those kind of websites are just there to take your sign in info. It can be very bad for somebody to have your sign in information especially if you use the same password for all of your different they're all your different usernames. In my opinion if you want to invite somebody to your Discord you should probably DM them personally and send them an invite from there.
>>57763879
There are only about 30 viewers who watch vtubers in these threads among those 30 viewers a portion of those viewers are vtubers. There's many more posters but they don't watch Vtubers and they probably don't stream either. You'll get a lot of advice on what you should and shouldn't do but at the end of the day you know what's best for yourself. If you want to make acquaintances that are not from Twitter some things you probably can try are meeting people in real life and sharing with them your Twitch Channel so that they can watch you people say oh no that's dangerous for opsec but the thing is there are plenty of vtubers who have real life acquaintances watching them and if it were not for those real life acquaintances they probably would never have gone past 10 viewers.

I'd like opinions from both straight men and from women/gay men if possible, but is a very muscular male with a bare chest and midriff too coom-baity? My character is a shonen action villain/delinquent brawler type so it fits his style, but I wonder if it's too much. He wears a coat but perhaps I should add accessories over his torso to obscure/break it up a bit?

Tbf, even if noone posts you in the other threads - you're still fine.
To get posted in the other threads, you'll need to have a fanbase of /Here/ who also watch YOU.
Only a few chicks here have that combo, and one gay guy, honestly not really worth it.

2. I'm incredibly sick of seeing these models, at this point I feel like wearing a shirt would be a revolutionary move for an indie
Go for tank top/vest combo like Terry Bogard, that would look badass and you can show off the muscles without looking gay

>> No.57768292

>>57767839
Depends on how oily your guy is gonna look.
It's less the muscles, but the coom-baiting designs look like they came out of a Tekken character roster - drenched in a sheen of shiny oil.

Look at some old-school shonen manga for inspiration. Also, how the muscles look is a dead ringer for the audience you're going for - don't look like you have 2% body fat.

>> No.57768653

>>57768162
Fair enough. I don't watch many indie males but I suppose there are probably a lot of shirtless ones now that I think about it. Ok I'll work on giving him a form-fitting shirt.

>>57768292
Zero oiliness, but he is pretty ripped. I was going for a Dragonball/Hero Academia level of muscularity, almost western superhero tier. 10% bf or so.

There's nothing wrong with showing a bit of your chest on a male model, especially if the point is to show that the character is strong or muscular. Its harder to show that under clothing without making it look like spandex.

Any suggestions for types of shirts that are thicker material but also slightly revealing? My guy leans toward more mystic/ascetic eastern styling but with a modern twist. Maybe a slightly open high collar vest? I'd try a gi but I don't think it's form-fitting enough for what I'm looking for.

>>57768961
>>57769185
A t-shirt might work pretty well, I just felt it didn't match what I was going for style-wise. Maybe I'm totally wrong about that. Funny thing though, my character is actually pretty close to that rendition of Terry in bodily and facial proportions. Thanks for posting it, I'll use it for some inspiration.

This is a bit thicker than you're probably looking for, though it covers the same ground. Your typical white dress shirt or polyester polo style will sometimes get you there. What matters most is how your artist shapes the shirt, shapes the anatomy under the shirt, and how much stretch or strain the shirt shows.

All kinds of tops, just make it more fitted around the upper chest / shoulders and loose elsewhere and you'll be good. That's how shirts usually sit on buff 3DPD fleshwalkers too. Never hurts to look at how real clothes work, and your model will be better off for it.
My artist used a picture of Matt Damon as a reference for my shirt for example.

I have a question but I don't know if this is the right place to ask it. I want to get into the vtubing industry, but I don't have any interest in being a vtuber. What I want to know is if anyone here has any information on getting into the industry in any manner not related to being a vtuber itself, like being a talent manager or content creator or any other kind of corporate, contracted, or supportive role for a vtuber. This industry is still very very new, so its not the sort of thing where you can just get a degree or something and hop into a job. Any kind of degree in entertainment or talent management would leave you grossly overqualified for handling very small vtubers, for example. But I'm nonetheless interested in knowing what exactly these small corpo agencies are looking for so I can start heading in that direction.

Additionally, since this thread is filled with people who are indies themselves, I want to ask this question to these people directly: as an indie, be it big or small, what sort of work or assistance do you wish you had someone to do for you or help you with? Networking? Content creation? Scheduling? Promotion? Assets? Counsel? Someone bilingual? What are the tasks or types of assistance you wish you had the most as someone looking to grow as a vtuber?

I ask this because, knowing this is a very new industry where nepotism is quite literally everything, and being someone with no education or experience worth a damn, I know I need to enter this industry the same way the rest of you are: from the ground up. For that reason I'm looking for things I can do/services I can offer for indies or otherwise small vtubers. At the moment the only thing I'm studying is Japanese, and I think there are probably ways I can use that to offer services for non-Japanese speaking vtubers who are looking to do anything requiring the language. Really what I'm trying to figure out is what sort of skills/study/training I should seek to be someone of value in this industry.

>> No.57781708

>>57780905
This is going to be different depending on who you ask but my personal wants would be someone to help with networking, promotion and video editing. There are a lot of times I've really just wanted someone to bounce ideas off of or get a second opinion as well. Working with some indie chuubas might be a good way to get experience and some ins into the industry.

>> No.57781877

>>57780905
My advice would be to do whatever it is that the managers of other entertainers do and then to actually acquire experience in Vtubing. If you experience the struggles of a vtuber, you can better understand how to manage a vtuber.

>> No.57781940

Clipping and video editing are both the most helpful and the most needed. It does wonders in easing the burden of promoting a vtuber and companies are always begging for more clippers to get the names of their talents out there.

>>57780905
Some companies do hire talent agents, but you definitely need a resume.
But yeah, being a PR guy (networking, promoting, handling copyright stuff etc.) is desirable. It's literally already a job outside of vtubing.
So I'd focus on networking and copyright law.

Thanks for your confidence in me. :>
It made me happy to read your post. That really made me want to do my best from now on!
Today, I did a test stream. In my PL I only streamed in 720p because I thought my internet wasn't good enough. Today I tried 1080p and it was smooth! I had spent entire days re-rendering upscaled VODs so that viewers could have the best possible quality, now I'm kicking myself because that could have been avoided... :)
Other than that, it went well. My BGM was a little too loud, and my mic audio crackled infrequently. So I need to increase the buffer size a bit to get rid of that.
One thing is, I'm running my mic through FL Studio with a virtual cable since my plugins don't work in OBS but it causes about 2 seconds of delay between when I actually talk and when it goes through on stream. RX10 alone causes 800ms of latency. Does anyone know of a way to reduce latency caused by plugins or is this not worth worrying about?
Oh, and as for the subject, I'd like to see the rabbit! There was also someone who posted a clip of themselves discussing Final Fantasy who had really good audio, like someone who knows what they're doing. I think everyone will make it, or at least I hope so ~
I'm not so familiar with the current group yet. But last night I did get to meet Momomo-Mo Mo-Momo, Ori Melidrops, ManasongWriting & Edward Hyde. So if you're here, hi!

I was ASPIRING but it just seems pointless to spend money on a model if I'm a guy. On one hand it can be used to draw attention to myself, but then if it doesn't work it means I wasted the money and could've gotten the same result without investing in a model and just doing normal streaming. If it results in 0 viewers then it just means paying money to stay at 0 viewers and the potential chance that MAYBE one or two people will willingly click on a male vtuber's stream to check him out.
>just do it for fun bro
No one does this shit for fun, if it was just for fun no one would invest time and money into models and layouts and whatever the fuck. Even if all you want is a small community to chill with, you still WANT something. I currently sometimes turn on a stream and just talk even if there's 0 viewers and I've been doing that for years, because it's fun and I still wish I had at least 20 consistent viewers that I could talk to. Having a model won't increase my chances of that so again, the investment doesn't seem worth it as a man.
>don't spend money just make your own model bro
I have very limited free time and I'd rather spend it streaming more or making better videos or something. Anything is better than just sitting quietly trying to learn how to make a low quality piece of shit model that will get me nowhere.

I could just be a depressing asshole or something but I truly don't see the point of being a male vtuber right now unless you wanna make it into nijisanji specifically.

I do understand how you feel. I'm lucky enough to have a friend who is drawing my model for free, but the model I'm using now is AI generated. I would suggest going this route - BUT! You have to put some of yourself into it too. For example, with my model, I didn't just take what was spat out. I generated HUNDREDS of faces, pieced things together, recolored every asset by hand etc and this process took me about 30-40 hours. You can still see some of the AI crust in some spots but I would say this is definitely a viable option if you're wanting to be frugal and are just starting out.
>
It can seem a bit discouraging being a male vtuber, especially as an indie. But just remember how successful male vtubers have the *potential* to be. Male vtubing wasn't considered as anything but a niche outside of Japan before Luxiem, which was barely even 2 years ago. And a lot of male indies these days are only trying to emulate what worked there, namely Vox. While I do feel like it's better to try too hard than not enough, you should also not force yourself. If you're not a naturally 'sexy' guy like Vox, then don't try to be. Pick a model that suits you too. You can't have a buff shirtless bara guy that sounds like a 26 year old Filipino dude gushing about Starcraft 2. Well, you could, but there'd be a huge disconnect. I think a lot of guys fantasize about having a bunch of fujos gushing over them, but that isn't realistic for most of us. That's why I went with a young looking face, because I'm a decently hyper person with a midrange voice, so having a 'cuter' model suits me better.
>
I do see why you'd think nobody does it for fun. I'm far too ambitious, I enjoy working hard for results and seeing how far I can go with things. But I also have known people who truly do swear they make videos just for fun. They get no views and have been going for years. So although I can't understand doing it merely as a hobby, I do trust there are people who do it as such. You are right, I do believe low quality models are more of a deterrent to the average viewer than no model at all (generally speaking). You do have a certain level of drive and determination, and I think it's important to ask yourself how important is it to chase your goal. You do have to treat it like an investment to a degree, just like any career venture. An artist called @tiny_vermin posted in /asp/ previously. Their art isn't bad and fully rigged model is only $200. Maybe look into their work! :>
>
You also have to treat potential and existing fans well. I've seen so many ENs complain about how someone proposed to them, going on to admonish this kind of behavior. I think in these situations, if someone confessed their feelings for me, I would simply say "Wait for me" with a smile. It's non-committal, but it'll keep them happy anyways. That's the most important thing. Then you've got lots of ENs who talk about how they hate viewers who 'traumadump', but I understand that that person is doing so because they feel comfortable/safe with that streamer. I'd keep this in mind, and even though you don't need to acknowledge it or feel pressured to play counselor, I never like seeing a vtuber complaining about someone being vulnerable. Generally, I feel like ENs do far too much scolding. It's good to understand that a lot of the point of being an entertainer is to help lift the burden off someone else's back for a while. You can enjoy it and benefit for yourself, but this is the service you provide in return. So by making viewers feel bad, or unwelcome, I feel like that's an inherent failing as an entertainer. Always make sure your viewers can smile at the end of the day and I truly believe you'll do fine.

You complain a lot about how the "EN" side of vtubers does stuff. But the successful ones seem to be doing well despite those "mistakes".
>Traumadumping is ok
Nigga the main issue with traumadumping is your OTHER viewers, they are also gonna get uncomfortable when they are trying to watch you and be distracted/enjoy the show. Imagine going to watch a movie and then someone stands up and just starts crying loudly while you are trying to enjoy the show. Except its even worse because you now have to talk about it so people can't even ignore it, which is then gonna attract more traumadumpers and the whole stream is just gonna become a bunch of downers. And no, you wont be able to solve their problems. They shouldn't be venting to a stranger online, they should do it to their friends or family, or even better, a therapist. And this isnt being rude or "scolding", its just the truth, we cant do much to help them. "Lending an ear" is not the help you think it is when it comes from a literal stranger, and especially if you are trying to play a game or whatever, just brings the whole mood down, and now everyone has to deal with their problems.

Here's the most autistic thing you'll read all day, but I'd like a genuine answer.
I became interested in singing through listening to Japanese music. I trained myself to sing by listening to Japanese songs and singing Japanese lyrics. This was over a decade ago, and for better or worse I've never really sang in English.
Because of this, I sound legitimately retarded when I try to sing in English but ok when I sing in Japanese. Problem is, I can't actually speak Japanese so any hope of writing lyrics is out the window.
Now, provided I could connect it to my lore, do you think it would be too autistic to sing in a made up language with similar phonetics to Japanese? I know Aki Rosenthal sang a song in a made up language, but I wanna know what /asp/ thinks about that concept.

I'm legitimately a boomer anon. I've been in a few different fields of entertainment, streaming being one of them prior to making the choice to become a vtuber. I also appreciate the 'idol culture' many ENs seem to dislike. There's certain things you should/shouldn't do and publicly talking down on people who are kind enough to take time out of their day to watch you or talk to you is never a good thing to do imo. This goes beyond vtubing of course, but given that vtubing is an intrinsically Japanese thing at its core, then the culture around it should be respected too.
>they are also gonna get uncomfortable when they are trying to watch you
Nobody forces you to acknowledge it. You, as the streamer, are able to set and maintain the tone for your stream. If you feel like acknowledging someone's venting would negatively affect your stream, then simply don't do it.
>Imagine going to watch a movie and then someone stands up and just starts crying loudly while you are trying to enjoy the show
But this doesn't happen in streams, because nobody is physically being affected. There is no person blocking the view, no crying to hear.
>If you feel like acknowledging someone's venting would negatively affect your stream, then simply don't do it.
>now have to talk about it
You absolutely do not.
>If you feel like acknowledging someone's venting would negatively affect your stream, then simply don't do it.
>the whole stream is just gonna become a bunch of downers
If you cannot control the tone of your own content, then you should not be making it. If you have so little influence on what you do that you're unable to just ignore a single person and allow them to derail your entire stream, then you are not meant to be a live performer. At that point, you're asking to be a lolcow like LowTierGod who flips their lid at every off color comment. Think about Michael Richards losing his cool at a heckler and how well that turned out for him. But the nice thing is, since this is the internet, if someone in your chat is really annoying you so much, you can mute/ban them. It's easy.
I feel like it's worth mentioning the times when Takanashi Kiara acknowledged 'downers' in her chat. She came off as caring and compassionate. I was endeared to her during these moments, so was her chat. So much so that these moments ended up getting clipped and presented her in a positive light. Even on /vt/ I've seen those moments cited positively. And I'm sure her sweetness did help those people feel better, at least a little bit.
>you are trying to be a parasocial vtuber like Vox
I wish I could pull that off, but if you saw the clips I posted here, I really don't think doing CBT Yoda bits and making howler monkey sounds is going to bait the fujos like you may think. I'd much rather be a Fuwamoco type than a Vox type. Still, the last thing I would ever want to be as far as vtubing goes is a selfish person with a "fuck you pay me" mentality.

There's a time and a place for everything. In my PL there was a very laid back atmosphere where people felt like they could say anything they wanted. It was very fun that way. Your experience is worth nothing if you've just been a NGMI every single time. We don't need advice from someone that has never been successful on how to be a good vtuber when they haven't done shit.

Well, if you want to prove that you're better than someone else, you've got to actually do that, right? Ok, how about this. I'll do that as much as I can without doxxing myself.
I have trained as a pro wrestler under 2 WWE hall of famers and worked crowds upwards of 2,000+ people. There is a science to live performance and if you make a habit of choking out the first guy that boos you, even when you're a bad guy, you're out of the business. Had to be honest that as I hit 30, it wasn't a viable career choice due to the physical toll it takes on the body.
In addition to that, I make a living off of music and have done so for a decade. My songs consistently get thousands of hits in the first few days without ever having to promote it. I feel very fortunate because I get to do what I love, and knowing so many people are getting enjoyment from my work makes me happy. I'm still doing this and intend of involving aspects of that in my vtubing too.
I became a YouTube partner in 2010. I simply did not enjoy creating videos that much, it was just that the videos I did make did very well for the time. It wasn't going to be a sustainable thing, though I still get subs & comments from those videos all these years later.
>why didn't you just start streaming on those channels?
It's pretty much channel suicide to do that. Best to start with a blank page, plus I enjoy the aspect of working my way up.
For a few years, I put out original content which consistently reached upwards of 1m+ impressions and was featured on various "buzzfeed"esque sites (including Buzzfeed themselves) which I wore as a badge of pride at the time but not so much anymore. Remnants of this stuff can still be found around the internet. I stopped because after 2 years, I was running out of ideas and couldn't deliver quality as consistently.
You can do all the mental gymnastics you want to convince yourself that all this has been worthless, but even failed opportunities provide things of value. Only a pessimist who quite literally WILL never make it will be unable to find that value, and subsequently apply that to their next venture. Vtubing also isn't hot and new, it's been popular for years. If I wanted to capitalize on that aspect, I would have done it in 2020 or 2021.
Anyways.
I think you will suffer a worse fate than I will, even if this ends up being a flop for me. Your mentality is so poor, that you will not only not make it, you will also refuse to dive back in or get into something else with new knowledge or an improved mindset. You will sit and wallow in it and hate everyone for your own shortcomings. You will keep throwing the same ball at the wall and hoping it sticks. You are an angry, spiteful person who could fill a family size Dorito bag with the amount of chips on your shoulder, but you couldn't pop a can of Pringles. You think openly shitting on people who try to care about you is the way to go. The only people I see doing this are terminally-on-Twitter 0views, which is where my grievance came from because they're a dime a dozen. So GOOD LUCK!

Do you think spending upwards of $4-5k on a model is worth it as an indie? Is that a good investment? People who are good with money invest it wisely. A vtuber model has no tangible value, and provides nothing in any other field.
That money was spent on an AKG C414, Yamaha MG16XU, a Pioneer XDJ-RX3 and other things that hold value. I use these tools to add further quality to my music career, and I can sell them for the same price I bought them for. Actually, the mic has gone up in value...
Basically, don't be dumb with your money and sperg out on a luxury avatar for your indie project when your goal should be going for a corpo that will provide you with a high quality model for free. And I'm getting a nice one for free as an indie regardless.
And my content wasn't clickbaity, just amusing enough for people to like it and share it around.

Though it's definitely not optimal, which I chalk up to room acoustics. It's somewhat treated but doesn't make much of a difference due to the size of the room and material of the floor/walls. I use RX10 to take out some of the acoustics which introduces some slight artifacting but I think it's better than having a bunch of reverb coming through. I'm also using a Shure SM7B for the time being since it sits better on my current mic stand and works well enough, though the C414 is arguably the superior mic for most applications.

If I'm guilty of any type of distracting posting it's about finances which probably belongs more on /biz/ than /vt/, or posting about tech which also has a appropriate board which is not this one.
The thing is vtubers self post here, and it inspires my manager larp, but honestly the vtubers I watch are moderately successful, and super successful in the grand scheme of vtubers while they have never taken any advice from me.
I guess we could all do more to simply post about events which occurred during a vtuber stream we watched, but i's tough because someone will groom your oshi if you share her here.

That's me. I watched your clip compilation video, it was pretty funny.
From what I read it seems you have a better mic than me, but I'll give some details anyway.
I've been using the Samson Q2U (USB/XLR) for years now (currently on my 2nd one since 2014), along with a mic arm (heavier duty than the usual one), a pop filter+foam cover, and a microphone isolation shield. The Q2U is connected using an XLR cable to my GoXLR, and I used this guide to set it up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lzwSbeesEoU
Before having the GoXLR, I had the same mic setup, only I routed the mic through Voicemod, which has a voice changer feature that just makes your voice sound better using an equalizer. The program is available for free (you need to make an account and to have an online connection), and it has a paid option which basically unlocks all the different voice changers available. They have some fun stuff these days but the load on the CPU increased a bit.

I am only actively on Twitter since 18 August this year, but I have been having a great experience with engagement and follows.

From what I have realised: your posts should always have a image, a video or a gif attached to grab attention, you can share things about your hobbies and your VTuber activities, you should use hashtags always, be positive, be kind, and above all else be relatable. Nothing beats relatable. Talk about human experiences we all have, make everyone feel less alone. Make everyone enjoy seeing your posts because they make sense to them. You can try to be funny and share memes, if you are good at it too.

If you want more engagement, ask interesting questions to your followers about things they enjoy talking about and sharing, they will comment to answer. You can also join popular trends for engagement.

And the bottom 2 females don't even stream anymore.
Most females are in the "above 500 followers" category.

Thanks for the insight! I'm honestly impressed you've managed to get such good audio with a USB mic, usually there's a slight crustiness to even the good ones. If you don't mind 2 more questions: How much of a part does the GoXLR play in the quality, and what's your room treatment look like?

Let me go back to that post. Hm, well I said male vtubers have potential. Model should match the voice/personality. Popularity of male vtubing is still a relatively recent thing. Some people do stream as a hobby without being concerned about growth. If you want to make a career out of something, you should invest in it financially. Treat your fans with respect and don't be a menhera publicly. This all seems like common sense to me.

They look tacky, how can I use a hashtag in a non desparate way?
>Talk about human experiences we all have, make everyone feel less alone.
I talk about loving males. I hope that makes people happy.
>more engagement, ask interesting questions to your followers
I think anyone who uses twitter hates any form of trying hard to think, so I try not to ask too many questions. If I ask them in an emotionally charged way (like in picrel), it spawns more reactions than carefully thought out answers. Am I wrong?

Idc about being parasocial or not. I wanted to become a VTuber because I want to make content that makes other people feel better and have strength to face hard stuff irl (which can be extremely painful). That's the content that helped me survive too. I will give back to the world what I was given, idc what other people want to call it or frame it as. I can it positivity, kindness, and support of mental health. The world needs that imo.

Hashtags may look tacky, but they are important for SEO, so... are you more worried about being "cooler" or being found by new people?

When I said interesting questions, I was referring to creative questions. Their answer can be a simple word, it doesn't need to be long or hard to think of.

I think you are kinda patronising people on Twitter tho... there are users who enjoy thinking and commenting. Also, people usually love talking about themselves and their hobbies.

Thank you! Yes, I want everyone to think of my content as a place filled with happiness, smiles, comfort, warmth, safeness, care, kindness, support, and love. The world is missing all of that right now. People are in pain, hurt people hurt people. We need to be kinder to each other and respect people's needs. I love content with words of affirmation, since sometimes I need to hear them and I can't irl. So, I relate to the viewers who want to hear it from me. I relate to them being happier after finding something positive, motivational, and empathetic online.

I will keep doing my best!

It's better to try too hard than not at all imo. Even if you feel this person is being cliche, they're still trying to do something good, right? So focus on their motive and maybe you'll be less annoyed by them.

Thank you for trying to understand me. I suffer from mental health issues since I was a child, so I really need positivity to survive. I truly just want to do the same for others. If there weren't any channels or accounts on social media dedicated to kind words, my days would have been way darker. I just want to join them. They exist outside the Vtuber sphere (ASMR, Mental Health, Positive Quotes, Positive Comics, etc.), so I don't see a problem in doing the same within VTubing too. Playing games and talking about hobbies is also fun, ofc. But I always want to have this side of making people feel better too.

Ok, first thoughts.
1. Your voice is very cute. Your accent is a benefit. A lot of vtubers with non-standard American dialects try to mask their accents so I just want to emphasize that I feel like it works in your favor here.
2. I can hear every bit of saliva in your mouth. I'd definitely prioritize getting some sort of noise gate and mouth de-click on there. I use Izotope RX10 Assistant but there are plenty of other plugins that do the same thing.
3. What you said is incredibly sweet. You will inevitably attract parasocial fans with this style of video. There are a lot of very lonely people who will feel bonded to you when they hear you talking to them like this.
It's good to take some time and reflect on how you will respond to these kind of people and the interactions they may want to have with you. Maybe you want to lean into it. Maybe you want to set a firm barrier. Personally, I think it's good to go somewhere in between. It's not uncommon for a fan to propose to a popular chuuba. Last night I said how I would handle this is to tell them to wait for me, because it's non-committal and ultimately a 'no', but it has a hopeful undertone and will let them leave happy. It's up to you to decide where your comfort zone lies with this sort of thing though.
>
I feel like I may have had a similar experience, which is why I can understand your motive. I feel like it's a very good motive though, despite that you may be a little naive...but there's a charm to that naivete, so don't try to change it too much. Just know that as you grow, with this kind of content, you will DEFINITELY pick up some schizos that will think of you as more than what you really are to them. Please consider this too, so you don't end up overwhelmed or stressed out by it.
