Rate my voice. I haven't started streaming, just thinking about something because I need to distract myself from other bullshit.
I can't even think about what to do for a model. I'm just posting /here/ to gauge if I am even thinking of doing the right thing here.

I expect loads of 0 out of 10, and if I start streaming I know I'll be getting 0 views. But wouldn't it be better to at least try it out and say at least I did it?
Sadly I am male (not interested in big views because it ain't happening), not a femboy.
Just someone that wants to stream for fun, rather than for money. I just wish my voice was better.

i'd give a 8.5 ! You sound super proper with that accent you have, and that is what "usually" wins over femviewers. Not too light (Altare) but it's not deep (Shinri), very middle ground.

IF you want model look suggestions, I'd say something along the lines of a softer male design (pic related)? but I'm just giving 2cents on what aesthetic seems like would fit your voice, this can be ignored though. (pic/design isn't mine, just something randomly found that fits your voice as an example)

Do you already stream? Do you already have an online friend group who will listen to you stream? This is the main thing, not your voice, also whether you actually have anything to say about the games you're playing. If you haven't already made friends online (from something other than /vt/, these are the last people who will watch streams), you should basically just forget it, just concentrate on making internet friends before you become a streamer.

5.5 out of 10 as a first impression, with potential for a 7 if you can find some joy in what you're talking about and just get more used to talking, and potential for 4 for if you stay in this groove. Monotone-ish is totally fine, being disengaged is a negative. You don't have immediate punch, but you also don't have obvious drawbacks holding you back. Your voice is inoffensive, and your accent is quirky enough to draw some interest. You might consider leaning into the accent a bit for some character, but the key point is having some fun.

It's not bad and your accent is a buff, I'd lean harder into it if you can. I think with a good mic, your voice is a 6-7. It's a softer style voice, so have your model reflect that.

I would highly advise against getting a model if you just wanna stream for fun, especially since you're a man. Try learning how to make your own if you wanna go that route and have the time, but if you really just wanna stream for fun then it doesn't make sense to spend money on a model just to stream to 0 viewers and talk to yourself. I think you SHOULD stream, just don't spend money on a model, I'd argue you should spend it on maybe a better microphone or something though whatever you're using is fine for literally starting from 0. I would even say to just do png-tubing for a bit and if you manage to get some people into the stream then go for the model.

Ask yourself what advantages being a vtuber has over just being a streamer with or without cam. I would start out just streaming camless, since there are no drawbacks to it. The anime avatar limits you to a niche that most people think is cringe af. Not a good way to test the waters. You build experience regardless.
