This is the only thing I'm worried about, since I think it's a matter of context and audience expectations. In Tempus he had a clear indication that people wanted to see the softer, more open, and boyish side of him. More importantly, he could do it, and enjoy it, and we would reward him for it. I don't know if he has that option now. Selfishly, I'm glad that my brotuber experience has definitely been preserved, but I recognize that isn't what everyone was there for. Time will tell if he can still do the "la creatavidad" demi-BFE that the girls /here/ loved him for. I really hope so.

I feel you, HQ as a group felt more balanced with different strengths. I like VG boys but they don't really bring anything new other than Hakka's screamo. In the next gen there definitely should be a more experienced artist because Magni left a huge gap. I think people generally have appreciation for some of the more "mainstream" ones, katawa shoujo, va1-ha11a and ddlc are generally viewed positively. Blue Archive's story is pretty good and gacha games present their story in more modern non-branching vn style too, not sure if you've played it but I'm so heavily invested in its developing story that the game spoils a static experience like a traditional vn for me.
