Off topic but since you asked. I just finished the despair phase of a vtuber indef hietus and I hate that I have to jumble between thinking they're gone for a long while or will be in a corpo in 2-4 months because corpos want to horde talent and fans by not giving them credit for their time at the company because they might leave after contract is up and benefits are not as good relatively to solo, which is insane in any other industry. Imagine not giving credit to the main artist or VA of a show because you're worried she'll gain enough fans to do solo stuff that'll pay more then what you offer. And I hate when threads don't have subject lines.

Personally I apply to a lot of corps for fun, but since I don't actually expect anyone of them to come back to me I never bothered. I'll read the contract when it is in front of me I can always decline.

It's just presentation / editing / self-promotion reps for me. Even if I got a terrible contract I'd still probably sign it, because I want to stream under a corporation just to get the expertise. I'm not looking to make any money from it, I earn more than enough from my day job. I'd actually not mind getting paid in exposure. But yeah chances that any corpo takes is virtually 0 so I don't think too hard about it.

Here's an idea I think is worth mentioning in this thread and every thread as long as there are vtubers who are looking for advice on how they can improve their show. I don't think this advice is going to get you numbers getting numbers and getting followers and getting attention is not the same as putting on a great show. I can attest to this by telling you that I for one along with hundreds of other viewers used to tune in watch and chat while watching a jar of peanut butter live on Twitch for hours every day. I would not say that's the best content that's on the market but it is the content that got numbers and my attention and my follow.
My advice if you want to improve your show is to put out at least one episode of Live anime theater a week. So for live anime theater what you're going to want is a variety of characters assets and sound assets sound effects. Sounds like roaring effects a guy dying effect lady dying effect magical sound effect explosion sound effect fire sound effect sirens sound effect glass breaking sound effect you're going to want a variety of sound effects. You're also going to want a variety of assets what assets you can't make yourself you may want to Commission or at least look for free available ones. You're also going to want scenery backgrounds I would suggest a beach a snowy wintery cabin an industrial Factory a hospital room a bedroom a garden a military barracks a forest a convenience store a workout gym in office a stage and Aquarium a zoo a grand palace.
After you gather everything then you might want to write a story your story if you need inspiration try watching some old gameplay footage that you made in a previous stream.
One episode a week of you acting out a theatrical play with your V2 remodel could be a great reward for fans.

My advice to vtubers:
as summer ends I think it would be totally appropriate to put on a concert including an original song or a series of original songs singing farewell to the passing of the summer.
I'm sure you have made many memories with your fans and had a lot of good times this summer that might be worth mentioning in a song. Right now the cicadas are singing and I watched in an anime once that mentioned that when the cicada sing they Herald the end of the summer and the beginning of the Harvest. If you don't want to write a song about the end of the summer you could write a song about the beckoning for the beginning of the Harvest. If you need ideas for your song my advice would be to watch old gameplay footage of your stream taken during the summer you can sing about how everybody played armored Core or Baldur's Gate. You can sing about all the vtubers who made partner or made a valiant effort. You can sing about all the vtubers who got heart rate monitor things and all their hearts going Doki Doki on stream. You think about all the Chatters and how the chatters survived the scorching hot heat as they chatted away supporting you from chat.
Writing and singing could be a lot of fun I know a lot of you like to sing but I know a lot of you sing karaoke but I know a lot of you at least graduated from middle school so you should be totally capable of writing a song yourself that's an original that you can call you your own and singing that song for your live audience since you're comfortable singing karaoke songs.

My advice to vtubers:
instead of paying$1,000 for a gaming rig PC from a name brand company like Alienware or omen I would suggest that you instead stream using a separate setup than the normal$1,000 PC from a name brand company like Alienware or omen.
I would say that it would be very possible for you to stream to YouTube using a PS4 and then from YouTube you can stream your live YouTube stream to your live twitch stream while using a inexpensive laptop to use a ping a PNG of your model so that you can be a vtuber and a gamer at the same time.
A PS4 can play a great multitude of games more efficiently than an inexpensive PC or laptop at a far lower cost then a gaming PC from a name brand company such as the company Alienware.
Since the PS4 has been out for some time they should be more available and more affordable than the PS5 and Games should be more available and more affordable than games for the PS5. There are even exclusive games that you can play on the PS4.
My advice is to let a gaming system do the gaming work and the streaming work while you use a less suitable gaming system such as a simple laptop or PC to live stream your model in a way not unlike how popular vtubers such as iron Mouse watch YouTube videos the only difference is that you would be watching your own live stream and reacting as you play games at the same time.
That's my advice to vtubers looking to stream on a budget.
To take this advice further I would say to instead of trying to stream and play games at the same time try playing games on your PS4 while streaming to YouTube and then after you're done review the footage in a live commentary type Style on stream on your Twitch account from your vtuber account so that you can more easily moderate chat and read chat and focus on streaming instead of being distracted by a game at the same time that you are trying to stream.

Then you good look into “singing from your mask.” No offense meant, but you have some nasal elements that might be caused by improper breathing or it might just be your voice.
