Honestly its kinda true, she worked to get in managements good graces without being able to go look at my numbers. But the real advantage is most of them seem to have pushed for it in some way. Lui was really fighting for it too which surprised Kiara. With the Japan trips we got multiple off collabs of different pairs. They pretty clearly all like each other and want this to be a successful thing. Fans see and respond. People cope Umisea wasn't always mandated, but it starting as something big probably hurt it in the long run. Nobody has had to fight for it so none of it feels special. Umisea will get more, Holotori has to prove people want more.

Honestly for how half assed Holotori was put together I have to give major props for Kiara to making it absolutely work.
I think Kiara understanding what the audience wants was key here. The dance group videos were pretty fun even though on an individual level I like umisea better.

I think what happened with Umisea was less to do with corporate mandated because it probably wasn't, I think they all thought it would be a good idea but I think due to how big everyone is they played it safe. Gura and Ina are just happy to contribute to whatever they get asked and Marine ended up being too reserved in typical Japanese fashion. Really massive props to Kiara

The unit was approved in February so it might've actually been the Jap guy who greenlit the unit (which is why its on the HoloEN channel instead of JP).
