Now that it won't be used anymore I feel ok saying that I strongly prefer the old model. The new one felt tacky and overdesigned, plus the colors were weirdly oversaturated. I wish he had just kept the old design but did a "remaster" of it instead of making a whole new design.

So here I am doing my usual social media rounds and I run into this. Thought of the boys. Not just Vesp and Mags but in general whoever else among them this applies to (Bettel?).

There's gotta be something about the way Cover, a Japanese corp, doesn't really meld with a Westerner's mindset. That only the most dedicated of weebs like Kiara manage to stay enthusiastic.

I still remember even before they were announced everyone was unsure about a Holostars EN branch. There were so many different things that could've gone wrong, the whole project seemed doomed from the start. And then the announcement came and everybody was shitting on the ugly guy with the weird hand cloak and the chin man Alucard ripoff and all of a sudden it felt like everyone's worries were justified. And then NijiEN announced a new wave, stuffing them even deeper in the trench. They really had nothing going for them at all. But then they hit Twitter, and magposting started, and Yagoo was posting in support of them, and people started to work out who they were, and then the general attitude on here did a 180 and people actually started rooting for them once it became clear they weren't just Luxiem 2.0 or some even worse thing. And then the debuts came and Magni's intro music hit and Vesper told the plastic ball story and simultaneously everyone realized these guys were a whole new group, completely unlike Holo EN or Stars JP or Nijisanji or anything like that. And none of that happens if you swap out Vesper or Magni with Shinri or Flay or Aruvn or Jordan Sweeto whoever the fuck else people thought they could be. The Tempus we got really was worrying and exciting and a little uncomfortable and always fun and the best of every possible outcome and I wouldn't change a single thing. Gonna miss those dudes.

Kronii's having the time of her life in Japan right now so I have no doubts whatsoever about her continuing on to year 3 and even 4.

Mori's UMG contract is pretty strong but once you're "in" the industry and made the connections, even if you go by a different name people will still work with you. And Calli always wanted to be more of a producer anyway (which can really go under any name) so I don't think the UMG contract is as binding for her as people think.

Sana was the best example of life after Holo. It was clear she wasn't really passionate about streaming and only tried it out for fun after seeing Ina do it. But she underestimated all her other work obligations and interests.
