The paid dancer thing is mostly for the EN girls showing up in JP 3D Lives. The most obvious is Ina showing up for anything outside of 3rd and 4th Fes. There's also the issue of Cover using MMD tier shit to fill in gaps to make it look more "professional", this is pretty obvious in most Birthday/Anniversary 3D Lives starting in 2022. The actual big events are of course actually done by the talents, though still mostly pre-recorded.
You can reply to me an argue that Hololive doesn't do shit like that, but just look at any 3D Live from the past year, tons of unrealistic movement you can only find in MMD animations.

It doesn't look exactly like MMD, but sometimes their performances are so in sync that it looks like there's just one person dancing and they're controlling multiple models. When a performance is actually live you can usually see more of their character in the dance. Mistakes in the dance routine, constant glancing around, poor dancers not moving as elegantly as the better ones, etc.
Some Hololive performances are so void of character that they look like puppets.

I'm gonna make myself look like a woman but several seasons of Dancing with the Stars, and I've seen atrocious dancers get decent pretty quickly. Yes they're dancing with professional dancers, but Hololive members aren't doing anything as complicated as stuff on that show, and they have more time to get better. I really, really don't think it's weird that they can coordinate a rehearsed idol dance acceptably.

Anyone saying that the majority of their dancing is paid dancers is an absolute retard. I could see there being a few talents that just opt out of doing dancing live, but most of them are flying to Japan every couple months to go to the studio for this shit and stuff like their 3d 'live'.

My guess is they didn't even ask Myth about their appearance in Mori's live. Cover has occasionally used paid dancers but that was different because management didn't even tell them it would happen.
