Good morning friends! I just woke up to the artist I was going to commission getting back to me about my L2D and they said for the art alone it would be about 3 months. This seems like quite a wait compared to a few others I've checked out, is that about average or did I just happen to see people with unusually short wait times? How do I, as a 1view male youtuber, stop numberfagging and comparing myself to another 1view female youtuber that started at the same time as me? At one point she was a full 50 subs ahead of me but I closed the gap with a video I released. I'm just not seeing any growth during streams, only video releases. All my viewers end up hanging out because they were recommended the stream after watching one of my videos. She hasn't made any videos outside of shorts but actively sees subs go up during streams and idk where her viewers are coming from.

If numberfagging is going to be an unavoidable thing for you I would recommend instead finding a male as your rival instead. Males and females just do not perform on the same level as each other. We have had an unusually high number of new males performing very well lately and an unusually slow growing female batch, so it might not seem like it, but if you look at a lot of stats iver the yeats, females grow much faster than males tend to. It's just not worth comparing between the two generally.

I think even if you averaged all the aspie males who debuted within even the most recent overperforming arch they still would have a significantly lower average ccv than the females. However, most of the very poorly performing males either quit or nobody talks about them anymore so you get a skewed idea of how well males in general are doing. For every Beryl or colonq there are multiple guys who are unable to reach even 5 ccv on most days, or somebody who quit because they coupdnt even hit 2ccv.

Meanwhile females likely have an average ccv well above 10 at this point. There are a few stragglers and not really any huge standouts, but generally they do much much better, even with the exceptions within the last batch of aspies.

Just looked up and ran some numbers on the last /asp/ spreadsheet somebody made. A fairly good sample of chuubas for the time period, but I had to discard a few because they quit and deleted their twitch or something.

Out of the 19 males I was able to use, their average was about 7 ccv, and they were heavily carried by colonqs 33 and beryl's 22, nobody else had higher than 10 ccv over the time period I looked at.

There were 9 females and they had an average of about 11 ccv. 5 had higher than 10 ccv with the highest being zenya with 22ccv and the lowest had 4ccv.

10 males had 4 or lower ccv. So over half of the males in this sample had the same or equal to the worst performing female in the sample. I think this does a good job at showing the differences in numbers between males and females. I'll post a screenshot of my numbers if you want after I leave work.

It's actually quite a large sample size once you realize that we are already working with numbers that have been averaged together. Those numbers probably represent hundreds and hundreds of streams. I guess the problem with approaching it from that direction is that it would bias the numbers toward people who stream more often, and the length of stream would be ignored which is probably not ideal.

Oh no the statistics paper I wrote in 10 minutes didn't pass asp peer review. I'm still at work but I'll do your significance tests and later. It's been a while since ive done that stuff but I don't remember it being hard. Though I doubt you guys will accept any results even if it is statistically significant. You will complain about where I got my numbers, or the time period I used to estimate CCV, or complain about how representative my sample is. But never will you do your own data analysis.

I mean even a simple average of that sample is some evidence of the hypothesis. Ive never seen anybody posting a single shed of data that suggests otherwise.

Most of the stream will be in the setup in blender and the slicer for that particular printer. I'm also going to set up a second (or third) camera to watch prints in progress. Most prints wouldn't finish in the course of a stream but I can do setup on one stream and follow-up, assembly, painting, etc on a follow up stream.

Been streaming regularly for a year now. Went from 1 to average 4-7 viewers (depends on content). Been told this is very good for my follower count (about 300 but it's a 10+ year old account). I am liable to believe this is true but it's hard to get a good idea on how others do.

I see some people with 500+ followers, newer accounts, etc. lower ccv (in the 1-3 range) but higher sub counts. Same sort of content.
