Myth was awesome because they were part of the initial vtuber boom and managed to salvage a slow start to become iconic.
Council were amazing as well, but there was no real "It Factor" to them. IRyS helped solidify them as a group in the wake of Sana's departure.

Advent are basically THE gold standard for vtuber agencies now. If you cannot procure talent at or above their level, you won't make it as a corpo. FIRE FIRE LIGHT THE FIRE.

Even for the bitching about Shiori, remember what we were assuming EN3 was going to look like under Omega's thumb. People were assuming they were going to be 5 Moris/Kroniis or even worse than those. Shiori isn't even a fraction of either of those so far, people are just assuming she will be and while I cannot predict the future, I would predict someone relying hard on GFE to cover her faults would know that if she rugpulled her own brand/reputation on that front she would be completely ruined and so with her experience probably would not go all-the-way. I am hoping that the new management would outright step in and force her not to because it hurts Cover's bottom line if the girl just plain is not liked - not just low views/SCs and slowed subs growth, but the merch tanks the fucking hardest because the most hardcore type of fan buys it in droves if he's happy with the girl and drops it all cold turkey if he is not. That must be of huge concern to Cover unless they are straight up suicidal.

After a couple years experience now with a number of holoEN fans being battered, seeing their once seemingly nice and lovable oshis turn on their audiences if not become openly spiteful and patronizing to their own fans, people are extremely wary of the warning signs and ready to pronounce someone is to be shunned and cut off early to prevent future disappointment at first sign of a selfish / dismissive / condescending attitude.

Some chuubas (really quite a lot in the EN sphere overall like twitch thots) think they are entitled to our views or our subs/memberships for some reason, like they can force us to keep liking them forever and people aren't allowed to change their minds and react to a gaffe she said or walked into. They want life on easy mode, they want to pretend mistakes cannot be made and if they are the fans ought to just ignore them. It does not help Shiori is setting herself up for failure too objectively with her impressive 0 knowledge of Hololive on full display going into a vacation started 2 weeks into her Holo career.
