I never found meditation all that hard. It's just focusing on breathing, noticing when you think a thing, refocusing back on breathing. Repeat over and over.
it is helpful though for improving attention span, even just doing it 5 minutes a day.
I think what a lot of people get wrong about it is that it's about "keeping your mind empty" when it's really about noticing when you mind wanders. Everytime you notice you lost your focus and bring it back, you're doing a mental bicep curl.
