Many of them are hugely flawed. They are just flawed in different ways.

1. Some are impossible to take seriously as streamers because they stream so rarely but almost all of those examples are people who have been Holos since before it was popular and they would have normally graduated if they hadn't been talked off a ledge or Hololive hadn't later become successful so you can grandfather them in. Some of the people from those generations are Hololive's pillars now like Miko or Subaru so it's not like they couldn't dedicate themselves more.
2. Some are massive homobeggars and some can be antagonistic with the fanbase. EN and ID may have a greater proportion of girls like this but JP has plenty of them.
3. Some are definitely just clout chasers and using Hololive to get other things they actually want more. Again, EN may have some of the worst offenders in that category but JP has some.
4. I don't think any have roommate anywhere near as bad as EN but a few have questionable roommates at least. Especially if you don't like your idols doing pornography on the side.
5. Some are just not really team players or they just have very particular tastes in games that can be very unappealing/niche and leave them cut off from everyone else.

But what separates JP/ID as a whole from EN is they do have respect for their branch and some level of professionalism in regards to that and Hololive generally. EN as a branch is made up of freelancers, so by nature they don't really have a commitment to a rising tide lifts all boats or whatever.

I'll be real here. Ame is only promoting males because she got nothing better to do, she spreads all her ideas thing and spread out. It's to the point I would request the EN management to actually stop Ame so she could stop stealing all the ideas that the new girls would eventually use in the future because she always abandons every project she does midway. Ame abandoning projects makes project quality in EN look bad in general. Then there's Ame's lack of motivation and goals, to the point she shills the males because she actually doesn't focus on anything specific, streams on freaking twitch and said she was preparing for something in twitch but spoiler alert it's been 10 months nothing has happened with the twitch project.
