I'm going to reply to these posts assuming that you're genuinely wondering what's going on, despite how unlikely that is based on your whiny attitude.
After the schizo baker had his spergout and made 16 /wg/ threads a week ago, we decided to not let him and his bot have control of the threads anymore. This meant getting a human-made thread up before his bot activates at the 310 bump limit. The mods have been on our side so far, but it's safer to get a thread in before the bot because they'll usually just delete the newer thread -- hence why we need threads up 10-20 posts beforehand to be safe.

That's true, but it's better to be safe than sorry. ~10 posts isn't going to make a difference. If you're seriously getting angry over 10 posts then I can safely ignore you, because you obviously don't actually care.

When did this happen? They deleted all the threads except for the real one when the spergout happened. The only reason that Irys one got culled was because it was NSFW.

I really like how it used second person to disguise who the viewpoint character is. The story is pretty good too, though in retrospect it's a bit short. Overall I liked it, it's short but it gets its point across. The only real "missed opportunities" for this fic is in the beggining when it was hiding who 'You' are supposed to be, but I'm pretty sure that wasn't really meant to be a major aspect of the fic outside of the the first few paragraphs to misdirect the reader.

Ah, I remember this. It actually had me fooled for a while when I first read it, and I kept believing it was an actual Holofantasy chapter well past halfway, despite thinking "What the fuck?" the entire time. The actual prose quality and writing style was what set off my suspicions the most. AA usually writes in longer form with more flowery descriptions and inner thought narration after all.
After giving it a reread with the knowledge that it was an April Fool's prank, I can see so many obvious things that point to it being so. The sudden deaths of Ina and Marine, the forced introduction of the EN girls and the damn television. I guess I just had no reason to believe it wasn't legit back then. This was a lot of effort for a prank based purely on the length, so I respect it.
