I was into Nijisanji for a while, particularly when it seemed like they had a lot more freedom in how they operated on an individual basis. But, over time, that seems to be less true; I assume AnyColor becoming publicly traded is the cause, since it seems like most entertainment companies entering the stock market leads to the death of creativity, and the timeline, as far as I witnessed, seems to match up.

Then there's the stacking yabs. I wasn't picketing on the Zaion side because she did seem to be responsible to a point, but I do think she was mistreated. It's hard to understand what's going on in NijiEN exactly, but it definitely sounds like there was a change in management and/or policy at some point. LazuLight and Obsydia seemed to have a good relationship with them a couple years ago (one example that comes to mind is when management learned Pomu was a fan of beatMARIO, they---along with Elira and Finana---pranked her by secretly allowing him into a LazuLight karaoke stream), but now it sounds like NijiEN management ranges from chickens running around with their heads cut off to outright obstructive.

Nina was my go-to in Niji to watch, but now that she's gone, all I have left of interest is Pomu and the occasional Mika VOD.

Plus, the fact that the talents aren't even allowed to have their own YouTube play button plaques is pretty shitty.

Good summary, anon. Nijisanji always had a "do whatever you want" kind of air to me. Despite starting difficulties, the early EN talents quickly found a way into my heart and genuinely felt happy with what they're doing, which cannot be said for the past months. Many of them openly voiced their discontent, are demotivated, tired with the bullshit they have to face. And I fear the things we have seen including the graduations, the leaks or overall sense of doom really is just the tip of the iceberg. I've now kind of moved on, but it still hurts to see this shit.

You now, the style they were trying to find/eke out elsewhere to begin with after getting bored with myth/disappointed with Council etc.

For the female fans of the boys I think actually they keep to themselves mostly and don't really attack Holo much - it's the male fans of the nijiEN girls who are super ultra fucking insecure about it and want to try to equalize things/level the playing field through any underhanded means/excuses they can come up with. And with Advent just crushing nijiEN to atoms every day for a week straight now, they best shut up and stop pretending their girls (half of which are literal-actual 3views) are gonna catch up to and surpass Holo any day now.
