Can definitely rule out Holo->indie growth outside of CN. Kson and Mike are definitely doing worse than they did at Hololive, and Sana doesn't exist as a streamer anymore. I guess you could argue Aloe has made more outside of Hololive, but that's a bad take since we never got to see how she would do in the company...

From insider leaks, there isn't too big of a difference in how Cover helps talents pre-debut and post-debut with Nijisanji. They both numberfag auditions and mostly leave the talents to do most of the work (they provide references if needed), except Cover gives them a budget. I don't even think it is a lack of passion and more logistics. You also have to consider that only a handful of them speak JP (and their best planners are among those that don't), which makes organizing an event for those that don't even harder. It is a lot easier for JP to create events when they are all in the same timezone and then include some ENs and IDs that want to join.

For Selen part I would argue it is accurate given the fact every event she has planned and wants to planned is entirely funded by her. She also goes that extra mile to get custom trophies made or little rewards and custom assets commissioned.
