So we know that originally Cover actually had 6 guys that qualified for HomoEN but didn't want to start with that many members so they pushed Bettel and Flayon for Tempus 2 instead. How do you suppose things would have gone if these 4 were picked for the roster of Tempus 1 instead of Magni and Vesper?

In retrospect that would have been the correct choice. Vanguard was a terrible idea. It pissed off fans waiting for gen 3, and it undercut HQ. And the Vesper menhera arc also caused a lot of issues

flayon would have gotten the first gen buff and a bunch of crazy pedo fujos would have created a cult around him, basically the chumpedos but female, tho numbers would have been around what vesper has now, just more rabid fanbase
Bettel would be magni without the memes, so his numbers would be the same as they are now, maybe, just MAYBE hit the 200k by now
imo, that would have been the correct choice, but if they had taken it, they would be in an even worse state now, magni and vesper shit designs pushed the memes and sparked conversation, both being actually funny and entretaining on debut was what pushed the gen foward even tho the other two were just deadweight
then everything went downhill
