Eh, it’s fun to theorize how being Kaichou’s partner would be like.
She doesn’t seem high maintenance at all, quite the opposite in fact, i had a girlfriend who had some similarities to her, we would often go days without talking and it was always implied as a good thing, Coco is definitely similar in that she needs her alone time so living together could be a challenge unless you’re ok with not seeing her for more than a few minutes for a couple of days while living together more often than not, that’s how they make it work with PPT after all, they treat the apartment almost as different buildings, their living room and kitchen are the shared areas but even then they don’t force themselves to have a conversation if both of them happen to be there at the same time.

She also has troubles sleeping and wakes up very easily so if you snore you’re probably screwed, it sucks but i understand her because i’m the same, i often wake up by any random noose after sleeping 3-4 hours and can’t fall back asleep so i spend the rest of the day tired.

I’m pretty sure anyone could make Coco happy as long as they respect her alone time but can also have deep and interesting conversations with her long into the night as she often does with Kanata.

I was doing fine lately until i saw todays Kanata's Minecraft POV, what i get from Coco is a sense of resignation and relief but Kanata being strong too made it easier for me to rationalize her decision. Seeing Kanata suddenly open up for a few seconds and show her true feelings now makes me sad about the fact we'll probably never truly know everything that happened and her genuine reasons for leaving.

I hate to say it, but from a corporate stand point, they were probably thinking they can easily absorb the loss. EN Gen 2 should have debuted a while ago based on when the auditions ended, and Coco told them about her graduation months ago. They probably held back the EN debuts till after her graduation to not only lift everyone's mood, but to add immediate revenue boosts to offset the coco loss. Now that the time is here, Coco is still bringing in way more than EN gen 1, and NijiEn is showing that the EN market may already be saturated. It'll probably be the end of the year before the suits realize just how massively they've fucked up financially speaking.

They (Cover) are basically scared to approve content that might make someone uncomfortable, might offend someone, might attract/agitate antis.
So if only one of the Ojisans that have to approve it, have doubts it gets rejected. From the sounds of it, you also don't have much chance to defend your proposal. (Though this could just be Japanese culture where you don't openly disagree or maybe I'm a bit spoiled, becasue I have superiors that are okay with getting into heated discussions)
