Yes, and I am much happier. Not having to deal with all the corporate bullshit is so freeing. That being said, the new holos might manage to pull me back in a little bit, but I will never put them above the indies I watch and care for.

I'm mostly watching Limealicious and Batatvideogames now and have almost completely stopped watching corpo vtubers.
I'm happy with my decision, but them being indie had nothing to do with it. I like them because Limes and Bat are exactly what I'm looking for in a streamer. If they were corpo vtubers I would still watch them.

Yes actually. Not indies but small vtubers in general. They have smaller audience so they give us more attention, which makes me feel closer to them and wanna support them more than I ever did Holos.
If a draw art for a Holo or donate 100 bucks, that's just another drop in their ocean. Now if I do that for a small vtuber, that makes her day or week.

I watch both but the problem with indie vtubers is that they have the tendency to completely ghost and disappear for months at a time with little warning and you never hear anything about them while they're gone.
At least with corpos, they're in an existing framework so you'll get updates from other people or the corpo if something happens.

I don't switch to other vtubers, I just add new ones to check out when Gura, Moom, or Fauna aren't live. Shondo is pretty cute from the couple archives I've watched, but she's the only one I watch who streams on twitch.
