A big improvement would be cutting a lot of the collabs. I get that it's probably how they cope with having so many talents and divvying up shares of attention, but it drags down the stronger talents. It's honestly too late, cancelling their concert killed the entire branch. NijiJP was most popular in the West because clips showing them as a the wacky-Japanese gameshow vtubers while Hololive was the girls-screaming-at-video-games vtubers. Unfortunately the EN management never actually invested in them and gave them the support and resources to pull off the creative projects a lot of the vtubers wanted, leading to burnout and fans just gradually losing interest. You can tell that Ike and Pomu are in the exact same place as Nina, wanting to make their own brand of content but unlike fox mom unwilling to take the risk.
NijiEN's high tide came with the release of Noctyx and was buoyed by the same manic collab energy, but that momentum was killed by giving them nothing but Crab Game and other generic FOTM co-op games that people (and the livers themselves) ultimately got bored of.

It's fair enough to hate the talents for their flaws, it's your own pet peeves clashing with their individuality, but as a whole they are all very entertaining.

You can’t. I’m not sure where you would even begin fixing NijiEN.
While there’s talents that either want to do their best for both themselves and the company or just want to stay in their own lane and do solo content, there’s people like Uki/Enna/Kyo that undeniably create a worse atmosphere for everyone. I don’t know what you can do in this situation beyond quarantining them until they leave. Flips also end up being some of the horniest fucking hires in this branch and not in a good way either, they make things uncomfortable on stream.
It also doesn’t seem like there’s much done to help the livers mentally or financially. They go menhera on stream which shows that neither management or their own coworkers are really helping them out as a voice to speak with, and with how loaded Anycolor is they can easily subsidize at least a few projects, or even partially find them to take the load off the talents doing all of it themselves.
Also morale in the branch is the lowest it’s been in ages. With Nina but especially Mysta leaving, it feels like the writing is on the wall and some talents like Selen will probably be next to go by the time winter rolls around and she gets her new outfit. And despite her being menhera over APEX, she’s the one talent the company can’t really afford to lose since she funds/co-ordinates branch and even company wide projects/collabs. I don’t know who else would be up to the task if she leaves.

This helps with pulling in new audiences and returning ones. But the original talents need something too. Your strategy needs the talents to be excited too otherwise their negativity will bleed into their audience and can kill hype. The audience will gate keep. You need something for them to be excited for or feel like things are changing for the better.
