final thoughts: unpolished gem - great artstyle and pretty fun gameplay loop, but story much more shallower and tropey than any AC entry, mostly delivered by walls of text and mid-mission scenes which are fairly intrusive to the pace of gameplay
also, weapon balancing is kinda irky and there's not a particularly big reason to not just use either the strongest melee weapon available or assault rifle x2
I do like that the overall mek appearance and design is more consistent style-wise than it tends to be in AC, but it does come at the expense of customization variety, you only get bipedal walkers and you gonna enjoy them
also the grind for parts being more a matter of time, luck and patience than skill is a bit eeeeeh, though it does encourage mediocre pilots like myself

overall fun, would put 200+ hours again, kinda want to grab an AC4/4Answer emulator now and see if I can clear them before Mori starts AC6 (my belief in her picking up either pre-release is rapidly dwindling)
