I have retrained the Mococo iA3 again with some different settings and I think I have something good. I have four different versions, all use MococoAB as the trigger word. The 800 version is what I would consider "fully trained". I have included all saved steps, but I would use versions in and around the 800step mark.

The differences between versions 1 and 2, is that version 1 was done with folder captions, version two was done with the caption files in the dataset. The a version in both was trained with a min_snr_gamma of 1, and the b version was trained with a min_snr_gamma of 5.

Anyway here is some tests A and B are the folder caption snr 1 and snr 5 and C and D are the image captions. I think closest to the original LoRA is D. The folder caption doesn't seem to as good as the image caption but overall is close enough that I wouldn't throw it out. I haven't checked flexibility yet though.

Version 1 (with folder captions) has trouble with different outfits (for example winter clothes).
Version 2 is alright, slightly worse than lora?.
Original lora is better at following prompts.

There is a bit of postprocessing required to get those colours, which should be easy to replicate with Curves adjustment in GIMP/Photoshop

It retains a lot of the detail. But you have to make some trade offs depending on what you are training. If you are training artstyle, then you probably want to play around with train on input. I mean Perfusion is supposed to be even better at only 100kb per concept. And from what I have read, Perfusion Models, which are seemingly the next big thing, are able to learn a concept from an extremely small dataset, and then transfer that concept not only to the vanilla model it was trained on but to fine tunes as well.

And even with the small dataset, it is able to creatively apply the concept without bringing in unnecessary elements from the dataset.

As a contributor to BGv5, I would recommend trying SyMix (search for it on civitai) which is, in essence, the next version of BG in LoRA form. It draws on less artists, but gains in coherence, and controllability via custom tags.

There is no general anime model for it yet a few anime LoRA but it is still mostly for realistic stuff. I remember an anon a while ago tried training a vtuber LoRA on SDXL and said the results were bad. So still have to wait for a NAI SDXL equivalent.

Those aren't general models just someone trained SDXL to some specific style, quality of those are pretty low compared to 1.5 (for anime not realism). I was going to play around with SDXL but too many of my extensions break when I update it lol, so I am waiting the extension developers catch up.
