I think they're kind of afraid of streaming separately at the moment because it might indicate one is more popular than the other etc and they want to remain perfectly-united between each other as sharing everything. They did say in their Q&A they are thinking about how to do individual streams however so they're mindful that it could be a thing.

IMO the way their channel is set up I see that if they just switch between each other a couple days a week and have a couple duo collabs mixed in the channel can be active basically-daily while each girl isn't actually streaming daily which would help them keep a balance. Closely coordinating duo streams every day every week feels like it is just gonna be impossible to keep up especially if they start to do more Holo-meta kinda stuff. Like build something in Minecraft.. only one POV and they cannot share characters, so what are they gonna do?

I don't see any problem with this. Plenty of people share channels, and liking both will be somewhat of a requirement for the channel(and will probably just buff them more, they have the potential to being the biggest powerhouse in Hololive)
