Phase have some of the most interesting and funny EN chuubas. Before Advent, they were the only interesting EN chuuba (except for small indies nobody knows about) and I think Cover took a page from their book, what with the extreme menhera and extreme moe debuts.
Also /pcg/ is one of the most comfy generals on this board. I'm completely unironic.
But unless you've spent some time getting to know the culture, it may seems very closed and self-referential. Also their talents are on the more extreme side of personality (again, like Advent) so they generate strong reactions: you either love them or hate them and in the process you become insufferable to others around you.
I should mention that Phase's JP branch is an absolute gem

Phase connect is hated here because the only posts about them are about Pippa and Lumi, and those two are fucking annoying. All the other girls don't have a big enough audience to get noticed here except for Tenma and wontons and people are usually positive towards Tenma but the wonton fans just get laughed at on sight so they don't post here either.
