Because most of Mori's other traits subconsciously (or consciously) scan as either "masculine" or "past prime reproductive age". The generally higher level of confidence despite the insecurity, the deeper voice, the "dad humor", and so on. It's like a laundry list of subconscious biological turn-offs. Everything about her screams "unfit mate" to the part of the brain that hasn't quite come down from the trees yet, so even the traits that would be otherwise endearing are turned annoying to males that are searching for a mate (the primary VTuber audience). Meanwhile, Mumei scans as youthful and easy to manipulate—prime baby-making material. It's all unfair subconscious judgment that most people are simply not trained to properly resist or unlearn.
