Barely anyone would want to join NijiEN now unless they want to befriend or fuck one of the talents, and that applies for both male and female prospects from here on out. Because what else does the branch really have to offer at this point? For merch cuts you only get 2%, you still have to deal with the issue of game permissions as it’s a Japanese company, you have to deal with a volatile fanbase, and then you might have to deal with internal competition on top of that as the company unleashes wave after wave to maximize their profits. You’ll also have to deal with their inferior Live2D tech which even no name indies can mog with vtuber studio, and you’ll be lucky if you can get another outfit within a year.
So in the wake of all that, especially with an incompetent management, why would anyone want to apply over being an indie, unless they were super desperate?

2% makes sense if anykara does merch with next to zero talent involvement, when all the livers are expected to do is lazily promote the goods. After all, corp made the models, contacted manufacturers, drew up the designs and handled distribution. Cover does merch with much more talent involvement and even investment, so holos get a better cut and can go negative too. Both approaches are retarded because anykara's livers aren't all that interested in successful merch while cover's lose streaming time.
Now the 50% voice pack cut is fucking questionable because that's pure livers' likeness and I doubt recording and distribution costs are anywhere near 50% of the revenue.
