If it makes you feel better, I find it easier to stick around longer in male vtuber streams. In my experience it's easier to have a good convo with them in chat too. Maybe it's because I'm old now, but I usually can only handle the female vtubers in short bursts. A lot of the zoomer women who are vtubing are insufferable to listen to after a while, it's hard to pinpoint definitively but something about their cadence, tone, and speech patterns just causes me to duck out after a while.

I think twitchtracker has improved a lot over the last 6 months. It used to overestimate viewers and miss streams a lot more than it does now. It used to be almost useless for brand new and 1-3 ccv range channels, but I think its not too bad any more. Twitch itself for data is the best obviously, but you can only look at your own data.

But if you look at it in too short of a time range your data analysis will be almost entirely random. On a day to day level streaming data is just too unpredictable to actually make useful analysis on.

For example, if you look on a 7 day scale, depending on whether the weekend is at the beginning, middle, or end of the 7 days could easily determine whether you classify a person as inclining, declining, or stagnating. (assuming weekends give them better numbers)

Ideally you should average months or weeks together over a relatively long time period to look at long term trends, then examine your data to determine if there is any anomalous or unusual data there that might make these trends untrue.

The physical reality of living with my parents is too much for me to be able to stream.
Even if they weren't constantly playing music/movies at full volume in the living room, even if I didn't have to have a finger over the mute key in case they bust down my door to scream about something minor in cantonese, just their presence between a sheer inch of drywall "breaks my immersion" and generally dampens my vibe too much.
Does anybody who streams from an apartment have any issues with (their own) noise? Would make the jump, but I have lived in a (very shitty dorm, which is why I don't know how much of a problem it is typically) a dorm before and my neighbors would occasionally complain that I was driving them nuts with a kazoo, for example.

Yeah that`s generally one of my bigger issues if I actually were to do this. I'd have to treat it like a main job or schedule somehow.

And generally, yeah I have friends, but I get to know people slowly. I usually bond with people over shared interests, and I've been trying to be a bit more confident lately, but I tend to draw not from my peers, at least age-wise, but people who are older than me easier. For reference, I'm 20, so in my university I have an easier time bonding with my superiors.

I could see myself playing RPGs, fighting games, doing karaoke, general talking, art streams and watchalongs. For example, I'm big into things like comics, tokusatsu and mecha to a degree, so I could have a "little brother who's a nerd" sort of thing? But not that I act innocent either. I enjoy intellectual pursuits too, so I could talk about things like books, music, music production and composition, history and philosophy... I guess an advantage is that I think there's zero VTubers from my home country that I know of.

I don't know if I'm a guy who draws attention, but the friends I get to know stick around and value me because I value them too. I hope that was an honest and well-rounded answer.

Nice. But the clothes are very symmetrical and bland. Add a button or some texture on wrinkles or something to make it interesting to look at. The leg rope potion is cool but unless you plan to stream fullbody all the time, nobody is going to notice it. Try to add something in the chest up area to make it unique. If you plan to show off mostly the shoulder area and up then it's fine as is.

There's nothing stopping you from just getting a png and streaming whatever you want just to see if you enjoy it, but you'd have to get comfortable with the idea of just talking to yourself for a long time.
