I'm not frustrated at all, I think it was one of the best amogus streams exactly because Kanata was so active and brash. Just noting that there's still a lot of work to be done for Kanata to be up there with the rest of histerical hags. Oh yes, she is definitely more comfortable in collabs now, even in these "loudest ones wins" ones. Turning that first one into a joke was a nice idea, it allows others like Marine to freely laugh at Kanata being shy or getting killed/ejected all the time instead of that weighing down on people like it did then. This is pretty much the old Asacoco trick, turn blunder into a signature meme and it becomes a charm point instead. I think it allows Kanata to find ways to overcome it easier too. Also Kanata leaving Swiftfang name on was a nice cherry on top.

I started watching Hololive with ARK, Kanatan's ARK streams were always running on my other monitor, or Aki or Coco or sometimes Miko. Kanata's were my favorite for whatever reasons it may be.

I believe in Miko too. Kanata is kinda nostalgic for ARK and Hololive has a Genesis2 server all set up already. I don't see her doing constant streams alone if no one else goes back, but for the sake of "returning to roots" I wouldn't write it off as a stream idea. The game still means a lot to her even as just a memory. There's also Nishinari server holos can visit, could be a good one-stream adventure. Anything is possible, remember how the full blown Hololive Minecraft revival started because two holos just felt like playing it all of a sudden and before we knew it everyone was back on the server.

Sometime in February last year I literally just started googling around (didn't even think of coming to /jp/ at the time) for vtubers because I was curious about what had become of that whole thing. Kizuna Ai was literally all I knew. Kaguya Luna got me into watching vtubers at all, Sasaki and Ars got me into watching streams, eventually I naturally came across Kanata and hololive, and I was just quickly captivated. It looks as if the ceiling burned and something (probably a creeper) exploded inside, which made the lava in the glass tank spill out. After that somebody came and fixed the lava leak. The weird part is that a white shulker box full of tropical fish was just lying there in the stall for some reason. It's not just Coco. Before that there was Aloe, then it was her own struggle with her illness getting worse and possible plans for the future if the worse comes to worst, then the slow and painful downfall of Coco, now on top of Coco's graduation Haachama is getting a break, Towa confirmed she'll be resting for a while and who knows which members will be affected too. I have utmost respect for Kanata for being able to find resolve to fight for the dream that doesn't seem the same anymore. It is like Coco said, you have to keep on trying. Yep, that got to me by surprise too, and got me good. This stream in general felt like Kanata was doing a lot of unwinding since the start to be honest, she was even more talkative than she usually is when she was just playing alone too, and the topics she chose didn't seem like a coincidence. I think there have been rough drafts of "a song" since she started talking about it months ago but she probably started working on it seriously when it was set in stone that Coco is going to graduate. That means no more than 2-3 months. With rough framework done beforehand it is entirely possible to finish a song in a month if you have these sorts of contacts but I think the oversleeping incident was used mostly as an excuse to roll out the announcement. I see no reason to not believe Kanata because circumstances are unknown and we really have no idea what work was done at what pace but it's not like it really matters here.

Entirely possible they did as much as they could internally until the announcement then actually sent out the content to be refined.
