So far there has been only one single case of it happening (Luna), and that was both ages ago and on the JP side, so it's arguable how comparable the circumstances are to todays' situation, and nothing similar happening since then, so it seems "they're all just waiting to jump ship to Hololive!" isn't really a thing.

Now don't get me wrong, I don't doubt that a sizeable portion of NijiEN are "Hololive rejects", it's pretty much guaranteed that almost all but a few of them (especially on the girls' side) had also applied to HoloEN as their first choice originally. But the point is, Hololive doesn't seem too interested to take them in either, so if they're waiting for that, they'll be waiting for a long time lol.

That's the thing with Luxiem's management, they absolutely did prioritize them. The problem though is that they had no clue what they were doing besides knowing that they needed to milk the fuck out of the wave while it was still relevant.
They made PuchiLuxiem instead of just Puchisanji EN, but there were only tiny amounts released. They a Luxiem "podcast", but they only really did it once. They had "half anniversaries" along with quite a few songs for them, but only a few of the talents are musically inclined and Jazz on the Clock was awful. NijiEN just fucked itself over because they didn't give the wave tons of time to shine, by the time it was February they already put out fucking Noctyx and made things even more awkward with Luxiem's favoritism.
