If someone rather just wants to refer to a previous character incarnation (so, not the real person itself, just the vtuber or character they played before their current character), we don't really have such a universally agreed-upon term and "PL", with all its faults (imprecise, nijinigger association, etc) is just the one probably most commonly used out of many.
