The problem with any theory about Haachama wanting an extended hiatus or deciding to only attend school is that it doesn't really make sense. How was Cover lying about her getting sick with the flu supposed to work after a month, or 2 months, or 3 months? That was clearly meant to be a short term suspension and it wasn't until just before Haachama missed her 5th anniversary that management finally admitted that she was healthy.
