We don't know that, and cover had private investors before going public. Althought what SHOULD be worrying is how a corporation like Cover couldn't secure the 20M yen investment for the new studio without going public.
Keep in mind that's not even $150k.
It really makes no sense to me why they went public to secure funds, for it's certain that wasn't the only reason.
