Holoearth dev here. Thought I'd leak a few secrets:
>Most of us are being treated like shit since January, when COVER started doing what they described to us as an "accelerated growth" strategy. They started stuffing shitty microtransactions into the game, so now everyone is getting crunched to get those done as quickly as possible, often with bugs.
>If anyone remembers why COVER pushed a "version 0.4.01" of the game, it was because someone discovered a huge security flaw in the client code, and had to make a rushed patch for it (the .01 was to not break compatibility with the 0.4.0 API).
>They hired a bunch of new management as well, like Ueha and that idiot Wada, which do nothing but micromanage employees and call them on unexpected meetings to "gauge their performance".
>Some employees sent an open letter to Ikko, the branch leader, and YAGOO, but Ikko doesn't seem to care and YAGOO is too busy worrying about "the long-term economic prospect of the company" or some shit. No talks of unions yet, and most of us are probably too scared to suggest that idea to others.
