Phase Connect's Pipkin Pippa (and eventually Panko) designed a parody VTuber company with AI-generated art. Some of her fans played along and it outgrew the joke to become an actual indie circle (with Pippa's blessing), using a corpo-style gen structure and AI art as a kickoff point. While these are cool ideas I would advise creating designs that an actual girl would like to pick up, I think most femanons would prefer more cute designs or maybe more interesting ones. I would recommend keeping it simple and going with simple themes, we still have plenty more food themes to go, maybe some vegetables or more fruit? Do we have a cabbage chuuba or maybe a carrot (rabbit) flavr?
Just saying to keep it simple.

Good points, MRE chuubas don't seem feasible.
As for game meat chuubas, there are already deer and moose chuubas, we could make our own one. I could see a pheasant chuuba being interesting. We already have a bear so that's off the table. What about a duck vtuber? Subaru is popular from that duck meme and there are some good looking ducks. For example have a loon chuuba that is a has a mommy rp (like Nina Kosaka, not the coomer one) with their fans because loons will have their ducklings ride on their back. It's really cute and picrel. Would be a good design idea too as loons have a nice pattern. There's other cool looking ducks too.
What other game animal chuubas would you like to see anons?

To me that's not really "fun", but whatever. This is the reason I was a proponent of keeping the original 5 + 3 members of FlaVR.

When Marie graduated she felt like she had to because of fear of getting doxxed. From my view that most likely was towards info she told the canon FlaVR group when they initially got along until something seemed to have happened between them.
Then the whole Niicola thing happened and how even with the "official" twitter they went all passive aggressive on her to get her out. When they however realized they aren't getting supported in this with no pushback and people actually liked Niicola and people didn't just threw Niicola out like they wanted, they instead went and decided to pull their "we are graduating FlaVR" bullshit so they don't need to interact with people they dislike.

As fans, the only way to keep a streamer alive is to support their streams as good fans. Somebody said it well some threads ago. FlaVR is completely independent now, however, it started essentially like a Pippa fan project; the original FlaVRs were Pippa fans.
In my opinion, only those chuubas created by Pippa on stream are canon, meaning Gen 1 (5 members) and Gen 2 (3 members, yes with Panko), SlavR, Niicola, Goose, etc. I do not particularly approve of prompted models from here. There is no guarantee that the prompters are Pippa fans; they may just be schizos trying to create and create chuubas for the sake of it.
Now, with that said, I don't hate any prompted chuuba; they exist, and if they prove themselves by streaming, then fine, they are good, like Marie, Jubi, Nayvell, Raimi, etc. But in general, I don't like this process of creating new chuubas. I think maintaining a connection to the original Pippa FlaVR streams is best.

I don't partake in prompting new characters, but the viewpoint that the main OC chuubas are any less valid than the Pippa stream generated ones is stupid. Pippa herself approves and is fine with them, the "canon" talents generally approve of them, there is literally 0 harm in just generating new designs, it keeps the thread bumped at least.

My issue with this is that the stakes aren't high. You don't like a design? Just drop it and pick another one, and repeat forever. With a limited roster you are forcing the talents to think before they choose a character. You are forcing them to be passionate about that character and do the best they can to bring them to life. In my opinion, that's what Sena did. She picked the cinnamon lady, and pushed extremely hard to develop her. If you just have 30 different designs, then it's not the same. Limited resources make you put more of you energy into the one you choose to succeed.

That take is so bad. FlaVR isn't some high stakes corpo, it's a primarily fan-driven community of indies. Forcing any interested girls to settle on the scraps that remain is just asking for trouble. There's a reason people keep dropping Alunette, or why it's taken half a year for someone to actually pick up gen 1 Donna, the kayfabe is near impossible to pull off. Sena didn't have to try extremely hard to pull off a DIY girl because it already fit her well. Even Marie left because she felt forced to be a character she didn't match.

It's not about keeping with the theme, but at least she gave life to the character, and took it in her own direction. Same thing Nyana is doing. Of course you can change the character afterwards, since there is never going to be a definite script for Vtubers. Every corporate Vtuber does it; they all start with an original lore, but it's the talent the one who develops it in a direction they feel best. You are just nitpicking at this point.

Remember back in the day, when the thread was disappointed with how some of the most popular chuubas of Gen 1 turned out to be dudes (Rika and Lolime)? The thread created their first chuuba, juwun. I was in that thread. We created pngs, brainstormed a name. It was fun. It was a way of coping. And then when we lost chuubas later on (Donna died, Alu never happened), we got sad, and created more. It's a coping mechanism. What's there to lose by genning up new chuubas? It's how we grieve.
It's not like anyone's going to pick them up at this point anyway. We create for creation's sake. That's why Pippa did this, she was having fun. You know what would be FUN? Giving Raimi a Gen. Yeah! So how about a diary themed gen? I'm talking about kefir. Sour cream, anyone? Maybe butter? I love me some raw milk. Two words: goat cheese. Yeah? Nobody? Ok. I'll walk myself out.
