It does suck, but I'm surprised it took as long as it did for them to update. Her old model was really weird, like the bottom of her chin looks like she has a beard or something because they didn't draw it correctly. I have to assume they were hesitant because she has like 10 costumes and they didn't want her to have to throw all of them out.

It's definitely worse, but I feel a couple things could be done to fix it a bit. Like outlining the nose and mouth and narrowing the eyelashes a fair bit. Right now it just looks so generic compared to the last design. Hopefully they can fix it a little!

In caricature drawing, you're taught to capture the likeness of the person even in an exaggerated or cartoony style. I don't understand how the new model ended up looking so different from her original one, specifically the face structure, especially considering it's the same artist. Nubukis design would've been fine on its own, but as a redesign it doesn't capture her original likeness (or sovl) so it's jarring and not the best. and that's not even accounting for the other issues, like the colors being too saturated or the placement of the eyes looking weird.
