Not an idolfag, but I'm glad I went to the physical concert. There was probably around 150 people attending, which should be a respectable amount for Kawaii.
There's a certain feeling you get when seeing your oshi perform live on stage that I don't think could ever be captured just from watcing a stream.
Only main grievance is that in-person they're just on a screen. I don't know much about the technology behind it, but I vaguely recall reading a post here saying that's simply how it works for vtuber concerts, so it's not really something that could be fixed. It's tolerable for the most part, but still strange since there's obviously a large empty stage. Though there was one group song where they were noticeably overlapping each other and I'd assume that wasn't the case on the online stream.
The handwritten autographed merch they were selling was also neat and they've all wrote different things on each board they did. Too lazy to upload a picture, but I bought two Charzu boards and she wrote different messages on each of them. The Isla one I bought also has a noticeably different drawing from >>52565242

I think song choice was really important and hopefully serves as a lesson for the others in the future concerts/events. Shee's Handlebars performance worked too because you could follow along with the waving, but for many others all you could do was wave your penlight like a retard. Most dance + singing live performance isn't live. This apply to both vtuber and regular flesh singer. The singing is flawed enough to think that they might be live or very minimally edited. The dancing is probably pre-recorded and some part get digital minor touched up as well. The MC segment is live though

It's not that. But the item's stocks were probably calculated/predicted and deal was set with the manufacturer to make a small margin of profit or break even. Expanding the stocks, then something going wrong or the expanded stocks not selling (despite "popular demand") probably set them back a quite a bit when they take that risk. The one time they took that risk, they got burnt so recency bias makes them not wanting to do it again soon.
