It's a weird overcorrection where cover just went in the wrong direction. The studio they currently have isn't booked 24/7, it's just fully booked for the number of worker they have, the issue is that they're short staffed, not that they don't have studio space. It depends. The issue with clips like from that space is she's more relaxed (and not so much in "streamer mode") and with friends, so she naturally tends to dip more into her lower register than when she's on stream and conscious of playing up the vtuber character. Plus the smartphone audio quality has its own effect, ironically the "lower" quality can make her sound better than on her normal desktop streaming setup because it takes the edge off some of the harsher higher frequencies that her normal combo of GoXLR+SM7b (+ fucked up EQ settings) leaves in or even accentuates.

So no, she doesn't sound like that all the time on stream normally. Though she's come some way from the full-on character voice in the beginning, and occasionally drops into her lower register naturally for example in longer more relaxed streams occasionally, most of the time she's still on the higher side, especially when she's excited or wants to emphasize something. Which she is / does a lot.
But instead of me telling you this, just check out a few of her recent solo streams to find out for yourself?
