watching your replays is something you don't need to care about until you're way past knowing your own answer to this question, since its always going to be personal and you'll figure out what works for you the more you play
unless you meant watching good players for your char, in which case, dont let it interrupt your actual potential playtime unless you are really looking for an answer to a specific thing/matchup. do it for fun when you're not playing

whatever your baseline knowledge is, let real matches guide you to when to go to training mode rather than setting yourself a routine
if you're dropping a combo, spend like 5-10 min practicing it before you hop into games, and if you're still dropping it, keep doing this every couple of sets. spaced repitition is the most time efficient way to build muscle memory
whenever you lose to something you don't understand recreate the scenario in training and figure it out. if you use something like shadowplay taking a clip every time you get owned by something is really useful. if you dont want to go that heavy just keep a notepad file and write in it when you get beaten by something, then load it up in training later

training mode should be used as something "reactive" to things that happen to you in matches, whether its how to punish something, or maybe you find yourself landing a certain hit more often and know thats what you need to capitalize on so you know its going to be efficient to learn a combo route with that starter.

for real lab monster stuff you have to have a really good understanding of fundamentals before its worth spending time in there instead of just getting more matches in

depends. what are you trying to cancel from, and into? some normals are super cancellable, others aren't. same for specials. some moves just give you enough hitstun to combo without needing it to cancel.

but if you know it cancels, then what you should be doing is buffering the super while performing another move. on manon, for example, her staple confirm into her level 3 super is to land her hitgrab, then do super. but if you wait for the hitgrab to connect first, you're already too late for the super. you need to input the hitgrab when you know it's gonna land, and input the super while she's doing the hitgrab animation.

The ranked system does a decent job of putting people where they should be so you'll end up playing against people at your level.
I wouldn't compare the ranked grind in any fighter to something like a moba where you have teammates. You'll soar through the ranks once you start improving and most likely only get stuck at around your skill level.
Matches are extremely quick to get into and finish as well which helps.

Brother I'm barely maybe a gold player with how little I've played this game and it put me in diamond just because I dabbed on bronzies and 2-0'd a single Gold 3. The player pool I played against was fairly tight. Golds into platinums into diamonds who I lost to back into platinums where I was placed at plat 1. I did wait a few days after release before I tried my placements and I did it in the early evening which could affect it.

Mortal Kombat hasn't been released in Japan since PS1 Trilogy, and they almost got Deadly Alliance (it was shown on events) before they cancelled it's release. I think they can still buy the PC releases on steam, unless the games are region locked by the publisher.
