I can't believe it's already been a year. for the first few years I don't think there was a better candidate for most subbed vtuber, or EN vtuber at least. As a day 1 viewer it felt like she put up a solid distance in that stream compared to earlier in her career, as if almost the whole thing was performative, the comments, the lines, as if she practiced it coldly a lot or at least the general gist of what she would say. If Kanauru really did do all the mocap for Gura's MVs then I think I'm done. It would mean that she doesn't take pride in being Gura or as an idol if she would cynically let someone else secretly do it for her.
