Streams are by definition parasocial. We all engage it in no matter what. The only issue is if a person starts thinking it's something else, like a real/normal social relationship.
In short there's nothing inherently wrong with being parasocial or having parasocial feelings. You just have to be aware of it and try to not let it go out of control. (And then again, you'll always have limited control over it. If your only social outlet is an anime shark girl, then of course you will feel it when she suddenly disappears.)

It's an interesting question whether you can be parasocial with a fictional character. I'd say maybe yes, but that it's way more rare. You'd have to have a tulpa or something to truly reach that level I think. If it's just Raven from Teen Titans or whatever, it seems hard to get the same level of attachment.

I dunno, people did have waifus back in the day before streaming was a thing and it was not unusual for them to be really hardcore about it.
