Yuko and some of the Endless girls are still some of the only corpo vtubers interacting with these girls on Twitter

The PixelLink trailer is done in the exact same style as the ESekai trailer and the countdown was the same also. Both trailers in the OP were done by the same studio. The rigging for all the girls is done by the same guy who rigged all the Idol girls. A startling number of coincidences if I do say so myself.

But for what purpose you may ask? Far as I see it, this company is being designed to fail. They are intentionally being debuted next to Endless to get overshadowed by the vastly superior marketing, and during Offkai when as few eyes as possible will be on them. The goal is to drain the talent pool for agencies competing with Idol by siphoning potential hires into this dead-end position, thus strengthening Idol's grip on the western vtuber market.

Why even bother with a decent animation then? If anything it's a bad look for idol if you have some nobody releasing much higher quality animation
I don't know about this theory it seems a bit schizo. Maybe they just happen to be old friends and are using similar artists and studios because they communicate with each other a lot? Seems a lot more plausible than a conspiracy to drain talent from competing agencies by spending tens of thousands or maybe even more on a dead end company

Well, the girls themselves need to be convinced it's legit and that they aren't being scammed or they'd just leave. Endless can live with a bad trailer because they're getting a good deal in every other respect. PixelLink girls aren't with only surface-level effort being made towards promoting them. They aren't getting ads as far as I'm aware (their shorts all have no views), then there's this half-assed attempt at paid watchalongs announced less than a week in advance:

implying that nothing has been arranged with anyone beforehand, and now guess what, all the indies already sold out to Idol and since they are debuting during Offkai most names in the small corpo sphere will not be available anyway. I'm sure the promise of promotional watchalongs looked great to these girls on paper, in practice they are at best going to get a couple of 1views doing it.

Also, Aviel is loaded. He was spending tens of thousands on the ESekai models alone not counting all the high-quality assets and masses of ads, and then he goes ahead and claims in the pinned article on his Twitter that he invested six times the ESekai budget into Endless. I'm thinking it would be no problem for him to piss away some money on this nothingburger of a project if it helps lock down the industry in the long run.

They have a booth at offkai so if anything it could help them. Also i don't see anyone aside from giga austists care about offkai so I don't even think it would take that much attention away from them even if they weren't there

Maybe, but they wouldn't be very high quality and would likely only attract low-tier applicants that were never going to pose a threat in the first place which would defeat the point.
