I kinda feel bad for Kobo. While there are 9 members in HoloID, none of them try to appeal to their home market. The ID management basically entrusted an entire market to Kobo, which is a really heavy burden for someone as young as her. I hope someone in ID4 would help alleviate that burden.

Back then when most lands are still owned by Betawians, they have this habit to sell a piece of their land if they want to do something big. Like when their son going to get married, or naik haji, or splitting their lands for their children after both parents died and selling it and move out of Jakarta (and they slowly getting assimilated to other cultures where they moved to)
As time goes by there are less and less Betawians actually living in Jakarta. What remain live in old housing complexes that also slowly getting sold as well. Especially when land and housing tax keep rising and the land price is too good to be ignored.
This is why FBR became a bitter and angry group. They saw their parents rich and thriving but since the stereotype of Rich Betawian men is to have more than one wife after they became rich they ended up having too much children that only receive a smaller piece of their parent's wealth.

In the end, social situation of the Betawians is quite.... complicated. They're fading away and what was left is their culture.

This is a complicated problem. Kaela basically is the right person at the right time, she fills the role for EN peeps who're tired and bored of EN1 and EN2 but don't wanna explore other agencies. Her 30 hours a day streams also helps.
Kobo is the right person but maybe at the wrong time. She debuted too premature. ID scene is going to be big if not the biggest among the 3 market, but for now it's still too soon. Maybe 5 years in the future. Even the most optimistic fan didn't expect her to be that big in 2022. Her popularity was a glimpse of what ID scene is going to be in the future, it's going to be bigger, more valuable, and sustainable. Not just a fluke like this Kobo phenomenon where she recline hard right now.

Just like ID1 and ID2 took a dive once EN2, Niji EN, and Vshojo debuted, Kaela too will recline and stabilize at HoloID's normal range at 1k-2k when more interesting EN gen(s) or ID debuted.

Honestly I don't understand with Pemaloe anons obsession with shitting on Kobo. I don't think Kobo anons ever shat on Kaela specifically.
Did Kobo fans mock of "EN-lite" offended you? Let's be real here, being EN-lite is good, they got more money than the ID focused ones. But only on the short term. Just look at how irrelevant ID1 and ID2 compared to their peak at 2021. And being an EN-lite is a permanent reputation, you can't suddenly pander to locals and be successful at both.

Nah, it wasn't as fun. I think one of the problem with Ngajikagi comes from the lack of preparation the talents do, and how freeform the content was.
Looking back on Nijisore, it's actually quite structured: with the talk, commercial break, quiz, and skit, all in one episode, like a proper, traditional TV program. Sure you can argue that it's just essentially a big skit, but I think that's exactly what the charm was. A proper, big skit, made in the style of the glorious days of TV shows of Indo during Ramadan time.
I just hope that whatever the Digikagi manager are trying to do next year will be better than whatever they're offering this year, so that they can incline more through that exposure

Fun fact: I don't know if this is a well known fact or not, but there used to be a Sinetron (I forgot the name) but the trailer ad for it caused a cotnroversy that led to the cancellation of the show before it even aired.
