Nips literally have the word tan'oshi to specify that you have only one oshi because having multiple oshi is just the norm, but people in the west think that's not okay for some reason even though they're the ones importing the term. Go to the twitter of any vtuber fan and you'll most likely see several oshi marks on his profile. They also make those introduction cards where you write about yourself and they always have a separate spot for putting your oshis and one special spot for your main oshi, which they call saioshi, not kamioshi.

I've been wrestling with myself a lot recently because I have been a holo-only fan since Day 1 with Myth. Before that I was a Nyanners fan for like 10 years. However, this past 3 months I've gotten stolen away by two indies. I'm a fan artist and I'm always drawing. I don't have enough time to draw my 5 favorite holomems while watching all of their streams and also watching every stream and drawing the two indies that I actually like a million times more than everyone in holo. It kinda hurts. I don't want to admit that these hologirls who got me though some serious shit since 2020 don't make me smile anymore.... But that's how I feel. Also I feel my feelings changing towards them has been coming through in my art, which is always a bad sign. So, I left and now only watch and draw for the indies.
