Does anyone else think it's a bit unfair that Ina is saddled with the responsibility of drawing everyone's WoD character? Calli can draw too, or they could commission some art on Twitter. I guarantee they'd get a thousand volunteers in thirty seconds and probably for free.

Did you see how long it took to make her character? It was a rough concept but it only took her less than 2 hrs. Doing some more isn't going to break her wrist or her time in the slightest. The others probably wont' be influenced by fan vote to pick the worse hair which is what unfortunately happened with Yuul.

Her rough concept is better than most amateur best efforts. If she focuses she could do a full group portrait at that level in less than an hour probably. And eventually having at least some “official” art in one style would be nice. Anyway Ina seems super interested in it I doubt it will feel like a burden at all, especially if they get up to some wacky antics which are fun to draw

Ina's character put points into hitting things with vehicles. Though in this area her character is not actually legal: to take roadkill she needs to free up five merit dots and a mental attribute dot.

She wrote 'aggressive driving' as a skill specialization (this is fine, anything you describe can be a specialization).
She took the 'roadkill' merit, which require two merit dots have been spent in the 'aggressive driving' merit (this merit is not the same as a skill specialization).
The 'aggressive driving' merit requires three attribute dots in 'resolve' (she only has two) and three merit dots in 'fast reflexes'.

Not in 2e it doesn't. Nothing on the merit specifies otherwise. Like Eidetic Memory, for example. Mummy/Immortal specific merits are in the Timeless Merit section. General Merits, like Vestige, are open to any character you could make with the MtC2e book unless it specifically states you cannot and as it does not do that you can take it as a mortal.

It's also not the case in 1e either, directly after Vestiage there is a Merit that has a non-mummy prerequisite.

It depends if you want to play exactly what the girls are playing, or you want to wait a couple of months and play the much improved 2nd Edition when that comes out.

I'd personally go with the second option there. So you'll just need whichever 2nd Edition book sounds like the most fun. The Chronicles of Darkness book is great place to start, as that's a mortal book similar to Hunter but without Hunters factions and more focused on investigation rather than hunting. You could use the 1e Hunter book to fill in some gaps while you wait for the 2e book to release though. But you could also just play any 2e game you want, like Vampire: The Requiem 2e which is a truly fantastic game and a great intro to the system as it's fairly simple, most people understand the basics of vampires, and it's pretty flexible.

There unfortunately isn't a great place that has nice synopses for all the 2e games for you to look at, so you'll have to do a little bit of Googling to figure out the most interesting option for you. The games are; Chronicles of Darkness, Vampire: The Requiem 2e, Werewolf: The Forsaken 2e, Mage: The Awakening 2e, Promethean: The Created 2e, Changeling: The Lost 2e, Geist: The Sin-Eaters 2e, and Demon: the Descent. There is also Hunter: The Vigil 2e, Mummy: The Curse 2e, and Deviant: The Renegades upcoming but none of them are fully out although the latter 2 do have early backer copies available that are just lacking some indexing and errata.

You can find all of those things in these various folders. Just pick up the core book for whichever game you'd like. I'd suggest either Chronicles or Vampire personally, if you got with Vampire look into Reap the Whirlwind Revised which is a really quick way to get started.

If you want to play HtV1e like the girls are playing the best place to start is one of the "Quickstarts". As the name implies they're quick ways to get into the game and give it a try. There are two, just use whichever sounds the most enticing. They're free and they'll basically tell you everything you need to get started and figure out if you actually like playing the game.

If you're playing physically in-person, you're going to need about 10 10-sided dice (d10's), ideally each player would have their own set but you can share in a pinch, you'll also need paper and pencils, and each player will need a character sheet. For the above Quickstarts each of them contains premade characters for your players to choose from. If you're playing digitally all you need is a virtual table top that supports the system you want to play, Roll 20 is a fairly good bet there. You will have to copy the information from the premade characters into there though.

If you decide you do like Hunter then what you need is two books. World of Darkness, and Hunter: The Vigil 1e. The former contains all the core rules for the system, the latter is Hunter specific stuff. These contain a lot more rules, options, and information for the games so you can start planning out your own stories.

You can find everything you need for both of those here. The World of Darkness book is in part 3, Hunter in part 1. Along with a lot of supplemental material for each.

They're not playing in the oWoD universe, but nWoD. There was a big reboot ages ago, and it's kind of a lot to get into. Basically you've now got two totally separate universes and games though. You can read about all that here

Vitae doesn't have innate healing properties upon ingestion, it requires a ghoul to use the vitae they have stored to heal. So if that's what happens then they're a ghoul. Which is probably a really bad idea because theyve never play a game in their life and it's a pile of extra rules.

Actually ghouling someone requires the Kindred to give a person Vitae and spend a point of Willpower at that time.
Ghouling isn't permanent either, if a ghoul has no Vitae in them and they go a month without taking in another point of Vitae they're back to normal...and any years they skipped while their bodies were "paused" as a ghoul catch up to them, potentially fatally if they've used their ghoul state to extend their life too much.
