Various people on various platforms talk and share their content via images, clips, or inspired fan art, which also boosts their influence on the internet.

Everyone seems to hate clippers but from an advertisers perspective they are nothing but positive. They are eyeballs who become aware of your product by secondary channels you don’t have to pay for. I wouldn't be surprised if the millions of clip views are part of the package Cover markets to potential customers. Remember too lots of Youtubers make bank purely on views. Dude Perfect and MrBeast make their millions on their views, not through peak live viewers. It's gotten very complicated and boiling down to a single stat isn't very helpful

its more of a cultural differences and barriers thing, along with the insanely expensive costs of doing collab, licensing, permissions, etc. Western greedcorps want something reliable, even if its fakenews shits like CNN, at least a good number of fucking normies will watch it. I’d argue that vtubers are still seen as a Japanese, maybe Asian, phenomenon. Whereas Twitch streamers are live personalities and can exist as spokespeople, vtubers are anonymous and are just avatars. Likewise their numbers really aren’t that great. However, I think corporate America will notice them in a couple of years if their growth continues
