The PekoKia collab was pretty great, they were laughing the entire time until the very end when Kiara got very emotional.

Their dynamic is special since Pekora is one of the few people Kiara will be submissive towards, giving us a new side of her character.
I want her to collab with Pekora again because of that but also because it makes Kiara happy.

It's mainly due to circumstances, I'd say. She teaches motorbike to the guests in a sizable amount of her JP collabs, so naturally she's in control. Inside ID, she's a bit more mature than the others, even considering Gen 1 and that makes her stand out a bit. I'm really getting burned out by these way too long streams. nothing against long streams in general but recently the content is barely worth it. 4-6 hours of a mediocre game which has like 5 good/funny moments if we're lucky. then hours of 'SC reading' with less and less interesting tangents. again, like 5 stories or news that I wouldn't want to miss but the past weeks it really feels like she's just trying to kill time, pointlessly talking about nothing or complaining about her health and doing nothing to fix it
I wish she'd streamlined everything a bit. finish SCs faster after every stream and do more focused zatsudans, perhaps even as members content. I guess most of her ~2K core audience that shows up to all her streams are members - and what do we get? the same aimless mess as grey names and barely any members only content.

Kiara's early streams were ROUGH to watch. Like really rough. You can feel her anger, her self-doubt, her frustrations, etc. Especially when she was streaming with a shitty laptop and barely knows how to work tech. I remember when she hit 300k subs on a Nier stream and instead of being happy while everyone was congratulating her, she was like "yay... I'm the last of the group".

I think part of her early frustrations came from the fact that she had some success years ago as a legitimate idol/entertainer and suddenly she's now at the bottom of the pack. For someone with already low self-esteem and someone who's been bullied a lot of her life, it would really hurt. But her development over time has been pretty good. Not perfect, not ideal but commendable. I still worry every now and then that she still hangs on to the numbers mentality and deep down inside I still think she's frustrated she's behind Ina but its clear she's either working at it and/or trying not to show it as much. Hopefully she fully gets over it soon but these sort of things are pretty deep rooted. Hating fast food uniforms due to overexposure is probably a cultural thing neither ESL chicken nor the JAP staff around her were aware of.
Afaik obnoxiously colored fast food uniforms used in order to stand out were a thing in the US (and maybe still are) but in many areas outside the US fast food uniforms were a lot more mellow, sometimes even looking kinda decent.
In Europe McD for example uses dark to very dark shirts with a simple M emblem on the left side of the chest. It also helps that other than McDonalds and Burger King fast food places aren't that widespread.

So that kind of uniform is not something people from the EU or even Japan would run into that often and if they do it's not as brightly colored.
Thus Kiara's uniform is a cute juxtaposition to something not all that common.

As for why Kiara specifically, Kiara is a vulnerable lady with a big heart who loves praise and reacts strongly to criticism. She's an easy target because she doesn't protect herself very well. She gets bullied because she is easy to bully.
