EN is the exception, not ID. Guys don't perform worse than women anywhere else, not even Japan where there've always been popular male indies. Nijisanji isn't entering a new market here, our scene is actually about as old as JP's. I don't know WHY men do worse but all the evidence suggests that they do and Nijisanji choosing not to debut a male vtuber in the first two batches when they have in every other region is a pretty clear sign that whatever research they did says it's a bad idea.

Yes I did. Consciously being aware of how you speak is the only way you can get rid of any accents. Even if it is a little painful and cringy to hear yourself speaking in an accent you don't usually speak in, you need to push through.
Vowels are the most dead giveaways for an accent. Look up what the 11 english vowels are and practice how to pronounce them.
Next, you should work on your θ,ð, f, and v sounds. Most asians have a hard time with these consonants, especially in rapid succession, which occurs in english a whole lot. Again, if you don't know what these are look them up.
Once your confident with basic pronunciation, work on your intonation. French english speakers, for example, will stress the end of every utterance and keep the rest of it relatively flat. This is because that is how french does stress https://youtu.be/dUnGvH8fUUc

I gotta know, is everyone in Asia fucking obsessed with Apex to some extent? Because it seems to be really popular over there for some reason. Don't play it for a while since if your playing something popular that everyone else is also playing, they'll just go to them instead of you. Try Metro for a "main game", with some soulsbourne so you don't get bored of playing one game. Also, if what your playing starts to bore you, start to add in some other games into you schedule. Keeps the audience guessing without having to give up the game that drags them in, and keeps you from wanting to claw your eyes out from boredom.

Yeah, Apex and Valorant spread like a wildfire here, but I can't get along Valorant as a CS vet. I only really grinded Apex cuz my friend said, "You're really gunna let an onionhead who can't order her food beat you?". Yeah, I mainly plan to focus on singleplayer atmospheric games since I like being immersed and being part of the narrative (or adding my own autistic narrative). Add games like MGR:Revengeance, Dying Light, Bioshock, and the likes to the mix.
