Regardless of what reason she has for not streaming (pretty much settled on the tummy hort officially by her own words so we can at least finally move on from the "projects" cope), ultimately there's just no reasonable explanation for the ghosting except some variation of "she hates her fans/she just doesn't care".

I think it was a mistake for her to finally address it with the "new normal" comment, because that cleared all doubt about her ignorance and that it's not just a case of her being le ditz who turns off all HL accounts when not streaming and doesn't notice things, but rather that she's perfectly aware of her increasingly boiling fanbase. I mean this was already clear from the shadowbanning of words in pre-chat, but as you know everyone coped with this being totally done by management/her mods/president biden. Realizing this was what made me think her behavior is really kind of vindictive and perfidious, because she sees the opinions and her only response is to suppress them via underhanded, snakey means.

The best part is that this whole thing has been slowly developing over such a long time that the fanbase has been groomed so much to tolerate the behavior. From the very beginning the habitual ghosting was brushed off with "she's just like that" or even "she doesn't use twitter because she's LE HECKING BASED AND REDPILLED". The fact that all of it came to a boiling point despite the tolerance that she had cultivated for it, is quite something.
